I really don't think so, it's not only EPL players that are being for huge fees, other clubs sell players at huge amounts as well, I think it's all about the hype. Look at the amount of money Real Madrid signed a player from Leipzig! I agree that these fees are way too much and some don't even worth the amount at which they are being sold for but I think inflation has a major role to play in this. Apart from inflation, hype, number of years left in a contract before sale and the age of the players plays another major role in the price tag of such a player. And if such a player has a good season, these can increase the price tag of a player. Take a look at Rodri, he has a good WC and that increased his price tag from what it has been before the WC to what he was sold for after the WC.

The rivalry between Madrid and Atletico is more historical compared to Barcelona and Atletico cause they're a team in same region which makes their derby match very tough maybe that's why Atletico Madrid refused to sell to them despite that they offered more than Barcelona, they even asked Real Madrid to trigger the players €500m release clause just to keep them off.

 Although Real Madrid's bid was a strategic one to hijack the deal from Barcelona but Atletico Madrid has always stood their ground this summer against strengthing their rivals. If the deal was based on players decision he would've choose Barcelona but if not Real Madrid would've signed him cause they submitted a better offer.

When we look at things from a strategic point of view, Real Madrid wasn't genuinely trying to build around Julián. Florentino's move here was to disrupt Barcelona's financial leverage and force them into an overpay to get the deal done. If Barca overspent or failed to bring him in, that was already a political win for Real Madrid. It creates drama and pressure, which is exactly what they were aiming for. Florentino, even at his age, remains a master of these transfer mind games.

Now, as for how everything played out for Julián, it should be a lesson in respecting the club you're currently under contract with. You shouldn't bite the hand that feeds you, and that's something modern players need to remember. You can't show that level of ingratitude toward your own team. hmm, 15 goal as midfielder is certainly impressive. But transfer fee is mainly determined by combination of player quality, age, contract situation, urgency of buying club. I think urgency was also big factor in City's case. Because they are rebuilding their squad after Guardiola and Maresca already knows Enzo. So to me £125m is reflection of premium City were willing to pay. Most interesting part for Chelsea is they sold player to direct Premier League rival. But with £125m cash generation they got opportunity for squad restructuring. Now lets see whether replacement and Enzo can handle this pressure of huge fee at City.

Not money laundering,  it's a tradition in England to buy from rival to weakening them, that's why rival sell tuier players very high to other rival,  they all know what they're doing,  to stay top of other leagues, the premier league have to spend so much to keep their best players in the league, even if it takes to rotate it within the clubs.

We all know Anderson signing to Manchester city was hyping,  he's not worthy of the amount Manchester city bought him, since his English player, the media has to hype him,after one good season with Nottingham forest,  I'm happy Manchester United didn't sign him, I don't like one season player, I like player that has proven him self for years.  Enzo Fernandes to Manchester city is fair enough,  he's an elite player than Anderson.

It's not the decision of the league to keep or rotate players within the league, if any other league finds a player and are willing to meet up with the amount tagged to the player, they will purchase such a player without interference from the FA. I don't also agree with you on what you said about buying from rival teams as tradition. It's an agreement between two different teams and like I said earlier, if you meet up to the price tag of the player you can have him but since I started following football, Manchester United and Liverpool are rival and I haven't seen players from either of the teams moving to the other side.. in clear terms, I haven't seen Liverpool selling or buying from Manchester United and vice versa, these two teams are direct rivals in the league.

Even the Salah you mentioned didn't make any impact in the as well because of not having much time to prove himself, Chelsea in some instances have had lots of wonderful players in the past but because there was no enough time for them to develop they were sold. Robbin was also part of this, he was a Chelsea player and didn't get to his full potential even at Real Madrid but everything unfolded at Bayern Munich, Salah was unlocked at Roma, I agree with you, he didn't flop at Chelsea rather there was no time for him to develop fully.

Without a doubt some players need time to fully explode, as in the cases of the players you mentioned. You have to have a little patience and unfortunately many teams don't have the patience to wait.
Yes, Robbin wasn't so lucky either and played in the strongest teams like in his time at Real Madrid, but he didn't give his best. Then when he went to Bayern Munich he exploded completely, very strong.

This is worse with the EPL. In other leagues, it's just one or two clubs that sign players with huge money, but in the EPL, clubs just buy average players at very high fees.
There is a thing they say about "Premier League proven" players; I believe that is a lie constructed by the smaller Premier League teams so they can sell their big players for expensive amounts to the bigger teams.
Players like Savio, Tonalli, Rodgers, and Anderson were all sold for 85 million and above. And things like this happen every season. You've seen them exchanging players that are very expensive. Even the ones that are not too expensive are still overpriced.

I don't buy the money laundering crap, though. It's economics. There is so much money in the Premier League, and the clubs know that, so they put expensive price tags on the players. More money means more spening.

The Turkish league is one big League that a lot of persons don't want to recognize but when it comes to European competitions, they are very good in projecting clubs that try to do well in most cases. so I won't entirely say Victor osimhen is managing the league, there is no doubt that he is one of the top goal scorers in the league currently but then there are other players with lots of potential in the league and is one of the top leagues in Europe.  Raphael Leao and Victor osimhen on the front line is one of the dangerous attacking Force we will be seeing in the champions League this season, Galatasaray have been trying to prove a point over the years in the champions League but they've been having some backdrop probably due to inadequate players to perfectly fit in what they are looking for, but I think gradually they are getting lots of good players.

The Turkish championship is certainly coming back to life and is trying to return to compete decisively among the top European championships. However, the fact remains that it is a lesser championship than others, because the teams overall are less strong teams than others. Galatasaray certainly with the last minute purchase of Rafael Leao has brought more quality that will be needed to manage the various matches that will come, hoping that Leao decides to show himself for the quality he has.

In Türkiye, everyone is very passionate about football; there are millions of fans here, and we've always had a very competitive league. In some years, it's not as enjoyable because the quality of the players is lower, but this season there have been some excellent transfers, and every team has star players. Even though they're getting older, they can still perform at a high level and improve the quality of the game. Looking back at previous years, we've seen many world-class players play here

Buying young players is a gamble. Some of them will end up not growing to play up to expectations. If the club is lucky, the young player can turn out to be a superstar. In this case, the club would benefit greatly from the young player deal. Since they are bought cheaply, clubs could make good profits when they become big players. €4.5 million is not too much to gamble for a big club like Arsenal.

For Arsenal agents to locate Andria Bartishvili in the Erovnuli Liga, he would be a player with a bright future. Staying in the Georgian league will be good, as playing for Iberia 1999 will help him grow and mature before coming to the EPL.

Instead of bringing in a better striker, they actually prioritized bringing in young talent for their long-term project.. but Arsenal has their own reason for this, which is that they want to secure the young player faster than other teams because they say Andria Bartishvili is a potential player and his price could skyrocket if he develops further.. it makes sense considering €4.5 million is just pocket change to them and this young player's skills could possibly improve even more if he developed under the Arsenal academy.

Well, Raphinha is already in the running for top scorer, which is a goal ahead of Mbappé, and I can't deny the amazing goal Lamine scored. Right now, Barcelona's weakness is a through ball through the middle of the defense. I think that's Hansi Flick's main vulnerability with Barcelona.

I think Barcelona's main rival is my Real Madrid, and a manager like Hansi Flick has these things very well studied. That's why I want to see this Clásico; I want to see how good these teams really are right now.

Barcelona is a team that doesn't struggle to find the way to goals, thanks to their constant tiki-taka, their two very fast and technical wingers and their powerful shot. He is not to prove to Chelsea that he's a world class goalie but let him prove himself that he's qualified to be a world class goalie because I don't think that he's one. I can only consider delap and "throwing away money" because that guy is so bad at football, I honestly don't know what Chelsea told notheham forest that made them buy him at that price man. I really hope he manages to get better and they don't regret their actions

Of course Enzo Fernandez is far better than Diomande, i don't even know what Real Madrid saw in that player or is it because he's just 19 years of age and has a promising career ahead? Even at the World Cup he didn't even contribute much for his country Ivory Coast and his performance in the first 3 matches of Real Madrid was very poor, he couldn't even make any impact.
For Liam Delap, it could be because they signed him from a top club that is why Nottingham Forest payed that amount. delap has already shown that he is a wasted signing because he has gotten a hamstring injury which will last for almost 8 weeks or more. Nottingham Forest could be regretting why they signed him because they were expecting to use him in the early matches of the season but now that he has been injured, he won't play till after 2 months.

Real Madrid Yan Diomande signing was surprising especially for someone that hasn't even played in the Champions League and it was a blatant fraud, this is the issue I have with Barcelona, after grooming players, they tend to sell them in chicken changes, imagine wanting to sell Casado for 25M.

Real Madrid signing Yan Diomande is really surprising i was not expecting him to go to Real Madrid after Liverpool was trying to bid for him, i just thought he would head to Liverpool and play in the premier league but i was surprised how Real Madrid signed him quickly without wasting much time. I do not know why premier league players are so expensive in the transfer window, you will buy a premier league player with big amount of money and the player cannot even perform well and play like a player that was bought for big amount of money. If i am the head i will never buy a player from the premier league i will rather go to la liga or Italian league to buy players.

Sánchez is a great goalkeeper and a prized asset for Como, but Butez is playing well and it seems they still want to give him a chance. I think they’ll do what Napoli did two years ago with Meret and Milinkovic-Savic, rotating them depending on the type of match, before deciding who will be the permanent first-choice keeper. In my view, given his Champions League experience, Sánchez will ultimately come out on top.
