In the last few seasons they lost the mature figure of Inigo Martinez for selling too fast but actually for now they can minimize this with the young players they have, especially with the performance of Christensen and Gerard Gartin as a coating that is enough to make them comfortable because for Pau Cubarsi of course he will be a good core line up at this time. So for a centre-back I don't think it has any meaningful problems now but if they want to try to take a safe way looking for one player as a cover for Cubarsi is also not a problem.

Barcelona do have good full backs but they are not so strong in the central defense. Some will say they don't have good defense generally because the full backs get carried away with their secondary duty ignoring their main duty of defending and that's why the central defense get exposed easily. I wouldn't classify that as good defenders. No full backs should ignore their main job of defending because that's the reason why there are attackers in the team, you can't focus on someone else work and leave your own. They are defenders and should prioritize defending and only attack when necessary.

Currently barcelona don't need any defenders they are good with Christensen and Gerrad Martin. If Araujo deal happens smoothly with Liverpool maybe barcelona can try in January transfer window but as of now barcelona don't need any defenders they easily pair Christensen with cubarsi and Gerad Martin with cubarsi.  Flick system is clear they don't need any new defenders what's they have they are using it very well because they brought the Big man Rodri and they already solve half of their defence problems because he is mature and have experience so in my opinion if rodri stay on the pitch barcelona don't have any defence problem I'd they get injured maybe Barcelona can suffer a little bit.

Barcelona has one of the best-stocked squads in La Liga, especially in the defense phase. When Barcelona clashes with a PSG side that has everything to win—because, let's face it, both teams have had massive wins in the Champions League, of course against lesser-known teams, but even so, their performance shouldn't be underestimated; a big win is a big win. It's surprising to see how rumors fly around. Real Madrid showing appreciation to Fabregas and Arteta doesn't mean they are not satisfied with Mourinho or planning to replace him soon. It's a great start so far, losing to Real Betis doesn't make the performance any less, they have had a bad history facing them.

Real Madrid are not at their best yet but we can see the difference in their game, we can see the hunger in them even though the goals are not yet coming we can still see the way they create chances for each other now. This is a good achievement if you ask me. They miss many chances even Mbappe is the worse but this is how a new project is started, gradually they will blend better and improve. Mourinho is a proven coach in the Champions League and even the La Liga; Fabregas and Arteta are still proving themselves, and IMO they cannot be compared to MOU.

Papa Perez must have gone through a lot of negotiations to bring MOU to Real Madrid. I am not sure he is going to give up quickly on him for interest in options like Fabregas and Arteta.

They will give MOU the time he needs; hence, I think any news about interest in another coach when the season just started is a rumor.

The president is confused or maybe he doesn't know what he wants. Maybe his age is beginning to affect him, has it been up to a year that Xabi Alonso was sacked? He was getting the results he needed untill some players weren't comfortable anymore with him. This players felt the coach was too small in telling them what to do, because of few players the coach was sacked as rumoured. If they couldn't respect Xabi Alonso that has won a league is it Fabregas they will respect? Maybe they prefer old coaches, that's the ones they respect, I don't think any of them will do what they did to Mou. Due to what has happened to Xabi, I think3if any of these coaches will sign for Real Madrid, in my opinion, they will need to have an agreement with the president on players attitude, something very similar to what Eric Ten Hang signed with Manchester United before he became their coach.

I would say that during the years Barcelona gave little importance to defenders because they never really bought a good defender. Araujo has been very inconsistent; Eric Garcia is an average player; they got Christensen just because he was free-agent. I understand they care more about attacking rather than defending but right now their best defender is Cubarsí, who is super good for his age but in the past seasons he made some huge mistakes due to inexperience. If Barcelona had a prime Puyol would be even better than PSG in my opinion.

I agree that Barcelona’s weakest area right now is the defense. Their goalkeeping could also be better at the moment. Aside from that, their midfield and attacking players arguably form the best unit in the world. Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid seem to have better defenders, but Barcelona’s high goal scoring output tends to mask the weaknesses in their defense. People don't talk about it as much anymore, but Barcelona really needs to strengthen its defensive line. Araujo, in particular, tends to get red cards in crucial matches; that seems to be an issue for him he loses his composure during the heat of the game. In my opinion, better defenders are essential for Barcelona.
