While checking the PL app to see the status of my squad for the Fantasy League, I came across this. Apparently, the EPL has already released an official statement regarding the current issue involving Manchester City. TLDR Not sure if this has already been posted in this thread.

Well what you saw on the Premier League official website is what is happening with Manchester City now as they’ve been found guilty of all Charges against them.

However I’m not completely sure if this have been posted here.

But I’m confused how this news was reported in the Premier League website, they said Manchester City have been found guilty of all allegations against them, but other media outlets are saying they were found innocent in one charge out of 115 Charges, that is a poor representation.

I’m so sorry for Manchester City fans that they found themselves in a mess with their club, I don’t see Manchester City surviving this’ the punishment is going to be grate to set an example, in football you have to follow the rules and win without cheating, Manchester City is a mess because of their greedy owners, they were too hungry for success and winning trophies.

Have you ever stop to wonder why that is? I don't want to seem like a hater (and I'm not); but CR7, although being a great player doesn't really have a great personality: He's selfish to some degree, somewhat egotistical and proud. He's not the first and only player to amas great achievements in football—though he's the richest footballer right now, other than Faiq Bolkiah whom his wealth are mostly hereditary—he should show some humility.

I love the guy as a player—he's arguably the best—but I don't love his personality, and I think that's the same way a whole lotta people feel too. That's probably why it seems like he's always being hated and less favored (note: these are just my observation, and I could be completely wrong).

Not exactly the best way Ronaldo could have chosen to end his career, but it was his decision to keep playing after the World Cup, even though it was obvious that at 41, it would be very difficult for him to compete with younger players. I think he received enough playing time and attention at the World Cup, and after that, he should have ended his career. Now he has to leave the national team in this way, after spending the entire match on the bench.

I think it was a bad decision and a poor way to end things, but later once all the emotions and resentment have passed, he’ll understand that himself.

Why is Ronaldo retirement question coming up? Is he playing badly for months or is he constantly getting injured and sitting on the bench? Not at all. He is still a legend and the best player in the Portugal national team. He is getting goals regularly in the Saudi Pro League. He will have to retire when he reaches the milestone of 1k goals. It doesn't take many goals to get close to this milestone. He needs to score 21 more goals and he will probably reach his desired goal this season.

He is enjoying the game sitting on the bench in the UEFA Nations League and his presence in the stands is an inspiration for the Portugal team. He should come out on the field at the right time.

Those leaches called Glaziers as Manchester United fans on the media do call them are the problem of the club, they've kept the club in a financial mess that's made it tough for them to invest heavily as they're supposed to but do collect dividends instead of clearing the loans, those people are for business they careless about sportsmanship.

Ronaldo is pursuing his big goal, and my guess is 1,000 goals. I'm one of those who admires him, even though I haven't seen him play for long due to the age gap. He should take a break and pursue his career elsewhere, at least as a coach.
When Ronaldo was benched by Jorge Jesus during Portugal's away match in Norway, he showed his respect for the squad by standing as both teams took the field. That was a great display.

like it’s always said, “a good dancer should know when to leave the stage” Ronaldo should have left the national team before now. I don’t know what he is trying to prove. Everyone knows what he has given to the national team, but it’s obvious that he has pass his prime. He is supposed to have left the stage and let the younger generation take over. Yeah especially seeing the issue happening now. Although many of his fans is sad about this, but I think he don't need to prove anything now.

You know he has a goal of scoring 1000 goals, and you know he will keep working towards achieving it. Playing for the national team gives him more opportunities to score a few more goals. What he has continued to do can be looked at from two angles. From one angle, we see that he can no longer do what he used to, his body reacts more slowly, but he is still fitter than some players who are much younger than him. The other angle is that he is showing what an athlete at the highest level should look like, even at 40 he can compete and help the national team, of course not like 10 years ago, but he can and he wants to + he has a goal. I thought of this during his second time at Manchester United but he's just too focused on his 1000 goal target. He should have retired a long time ago that he was still valued in football. Staying longer is the cause of all these disrespect, people don't want to know how old he is, they just want him to keep performing at top level but with his age he just can't meet up that's why he just needs to accept and leave so he doesn't tarnish his reputation even more.

I think he will. His decision to leave Portugal's training camp in denmark can lead him to get one until six months ban from Portugal federation. I don't think he was stupid enough not aware about the disciplinary rule in portugal. When he leaves, he already aware the consequence he's gonna face.
We may be getting closer to see him announces his retirement from the international football.
