Congratulations Bayern Munich:the world’s best striker, Harry Kane, has extended his contract with FC Bayern Munich until 2029. This is a great sign for the German Bundesliga. The world’s best striker will continue to be seen in Elversberg or even in Hamburg. I think this is fantastic news for all Bundesliga fans. source: HK News If we're in his shoes, I will sign a lifetime deal with Bayern Munich if that's possible. Bayern Munich is the best place where he can be, it pains me that's this wonderful striker wasted his entire youthfulness at Tottenham and won nothing with the team, that's what happens when someone that's good plays for an average team. Would heva ever be among Ballon d'Or top 3 id be was still at Tottenham? Hell no! Moving away from Tottenham is one of his biggest achievements because of he didn't make that move, he would still be where he was back then. Big teams plays a big role to players development and wider awareness.

I'm Italian, I remember players such as Del Piero, Maldini and Totti, just to mention a few: those are players who received offers from all the biggest European team, even offering them way more money than what they were making, but they always refused because they loved their clubs. These kind of players now don't exist anymore.
At the time, the Italian league was the best league in Europe. So it was easy for them to remain there. I don't think there was ever a time when money was not a factor, even though it has more relevance now. Italian players didn't leave the Italian league that much. Right now, if the Italian league produced a player like Del Piero, they would not want to spend their career in Italy. They will want to go to the bigger clubs in Europe and get paid more in the process. I think money has always been a big part of football. Madrid have always spent money to get big players, so did Manchester United and AC Milan. I don't think it has anything to do with foreigners. Some of the biggest legends of Milan were not Italians. Players like Van Basten, Seedorf, Kaka, Gullit, Shevchenko were all foreigners that made a name in the Italian league. Foreigners from other European countries and South America have always made it in top European leagues. If these players were playing today, they would want to play in the biggest leagues in Europe. Sure, the Italian Serie A at the time was way better than today's, probably it was even the best league in the world, but let's not forget that when a club like Real Madrid knocks for you is incredibly difficult to say no. I still remember that Florentino Perez always said that Totti has been the only player to ever turned him down. And when Juventus got relegated Alex Ferguson personally called Del Piero to join Manchester United and he said no, he wanted to help the team. I can also mention an episode that happened in the opposite way: Massimo Moratti, president of Inter Milan, had always been a huge fan of Paul Scholes, he would have gave him any salary. Scholes' answer was: "if you want me to play for you, you'll have to buy Manchester United". Of course I understand they are professional players and they want to make as much money as possible but when you are already making 15 millions per years, what difference does it make if they offer you 17? You'll never be able to spend all that money anyway. The sentimental part has always been small, but now it's completely gone.

He was the best player of the season for Tottenham, won the Golden Boot, so think about it if this player had played for a big club in Europe from the start, he might have had more than one Ballon d'Or next to his name. Harry Kane is a great and extraordinary striker, he can make plays as well as he has great finishing skills, that's why Bayern Munich has extended his contract with him. Bayern Munich's attack lineup of Luis Diaz, Harry Kane and Michael Olise will not be broken so easily because when these three counterattack, it becomes difficult for the opponent to defend.

That was the era of Messi and Ronaldo, so it would be wrong to say that if he had not played for Tottenham at that time and played for a big team, he would have had multiple Ballon d'Ors next to his name. Because of Messi and Ronaldo, winning the Ballon d'Or at that time was a very difficult task. When he was at Tottenham, Tottenham was not a small team, but a Premier League potential team. You may be making such comments looking at Tottenham's situation recently. When Harry Kane was at Tottenham, they regularly secured a top 4 position in the points table and they were also able to perform brilliantly in the Champions League. I will not say that he did not have his best time at Bayern Munich. He is still in his best form and has won the Ballon d'Or through brilliant performances. After winning the Ballon d'Or, it was expected that Bayern Munich would renew his contract with him and Harry Kane would also agree to this contract.

Honestly, Harry Kane was good at the time but even if he played for a bigger team I don't think he will still be able to win a single Balon Dor. There were several players that were even better at the time but couldn't even win the award once and that's because Messi and Ronaldo were far ahead of everyone as they were doing the unimaginable. We had the likes of Hazard, Neymar even Lewandowski who at the time were doing better than Kane so he just won't have a chance to win it that time. The issue was that Messi and Ronaldo were practically doing what wingers and strikers are meant for and they were doing it even better. It's not Kane's best form at Bayern Munich but he should be thankful he made the move to Bayern Munich and won the award and that he didn't spend all his career at Tottenham. If he did he wouldn't have had any chance.

Harry Kane is one of the consistent strikers that I have seen in football, he never flopped in any season all the way from Tottenham to Bayern Munich. His goalscoring prowess was equivalent to Mbappe and both players are the only people who has carried their teams to the top over the years. Harry Kane was very unlucky that no big team came for him while he was at Tottenham, it was just as if he was betrothed to the club that is why he spend 19 years (both in youth academy and for the senior team) at the club before Bayern Munich came to rescue him. Of course he owes the club his loyalty because they shaped and exposed him into several opportunities which the highest was winning the decorated balloon D'or awards. If he can win the Champions League with Bayern Munich then his achievements will be complete as a striker. I wish him good luck and more achievements with Bayern Munich till the end of his career.

What's with the whole Congratulations about Harry Kane signing a new contract? Well, he's currently the best striker in my opinion but let's not forget that he is 33 years and his performance could decline as years pass by, he might not be that vibrant striker we know anymore. Bayern would definitely find a replacement for him without a doubt, and they would still peefom well without him in the team. But still, the new contract is a good addition to the team, and Vincent Kompany knows that, Michael Olise should be the happiest person right now after these contract. Olise still has a player that would not fail to convert his chances created, that's good news.

The club is not just extending the contract of Harry Kane because of his quality on the pitch. Winning the Ballon d'Or makes him a special global brand that could generate more revenue for the club. His presence at the club could bring in more investors to the German-based club. At 33 years, he is still good and might be able to maintain his class for maybe another two to three years. So I concur that it is a good move by the management of the club.

Although at a point, his age may start telling on him since he's already 33 years old of age, so their are chances that his performance may start declining from here, but since Bayern Munich are still having a good value for their money, then I think a very good decision by all parties involved, in making this deal to happen.

Of course I understand they are professional players and they want to make as much money as possible but when you are already making 15 millions per years, what difference does it make if they offer you 17? You'll never be able to spend all that money anyway. The sentimental part has always been small, but now it's completely gone.
I don't think it's completely gone. There are players right now who won't leave their club no matter what. It is easier if you went through the academy of that club or joined that club as a teenager. Like Totti, Paul Scholes and Del Piero. Messi would have remained in Barcelona if they were able to keep him. Iniesta saw his level had dropped and had to go outside Europe. These days, big clubs don't even want to keep a player till the end of their career. Calvajal has spent his entire career in Madrid. There are few players who are good enough to come through the club academy and remain there to become legends. Take Manchester United, for example, they don't prioritize their academy, but if they get a great talent from the academy, the player would still want to leave at some point because the club is total shit. In fact, aside from Barcelona, other big teams don't prioritize their academy that much. These days, good players come from small teams like Dortmund, Benfica, and even outside Europe. So it's not easy for those players to have the kind of connection with the club that they will be ready to remain there. Besides, it's not like back in the day, many players stayed at a club. It was still exceptional to see players that spend 15+ years at a club. They switched clubs. The money was simply not as much as it is now, so it was a little bit different.

For now, Kane continues to perform at his best the Ballon d’Or is further proof of this. If Bayern Munich were to let him go, who would they even bring in to replace him? There are very few strikers of his caliber in the current football market. Perhaps, instead, they should talk to him motivate him and encourage him to play even more.

I also think he is more than capable of playing at the highest level for several more seasons. I know he was looking to extend his contract with Bayern until 2030, but I think a deal until 2029 is also a very good arrangement. Especially considering that he earns a very substantial salary under his current contract. If I'm not mistaken, it's around €25 million per year, excluding bonuses, those are excellent terms. I'm actually a little surprised that Bayern agreed to pay him that much.

Asides other benefits they'll getting in having a ballon d'Or holder in the team, Harry is still actively firing well despite his age, his strike impact is still top notch so extending his contract is an excellent decision. If they didn’t other clubs might try to snatch him, they won't even consider his age but the benefits they'll get on and off the pitch. Harry was at the last year of his contract which means that he would've been free by summer and would attract other big clubs including those from the Saudi league. Well they should be delighted that he choose to stay and extend his contract.

I want to hear your opinion !
Is there a chance for Vinicius Jr. to leave Madrid at the end of the season if Mourinho prefers Diomande to Vinicius. Because I see this season Diomande can better adjust the position with Mbappe, while Vinicius is often reluctant to rotate and on several occasions often clashed with Mbappe the problem of the left wing position.

Because I see this season Diomande can better adjust the position with Mbappe, while Vinicius is often reluctant to rotate and on several occasions often clashed with Mbappe the problem of the left wing position.
If Mourinho still prefer Diomande to be his top winger, then Vini will feel desperate, and it's likely he's leaving. Vini is a player with high ego, i believe he can't accept to be benched wholetime. So he will leave if such thing to happen on him. However, he still have time to fight for his spot. If he failed to get his form back, the better to leave and be a superstar in the new team with so many privilege.

Vinicius himself might want to leave in this situation. Mourinho will most likely choose Diomande as his best winger. I think he could use Vinicius in the rotation, but Vinicius himself wouldn't accept that. Rather than getting less playing time, he would probably want to leave the team and prove himself at another club. It already looks like things are heading in that direction.

Every coach would certainly love to have a roster with good squad depth and Mourinho is no exception ... But simply using Vini as a back-up for Diomande is clearly not a scenario that can be easily put into practice. We all know that Vini is a highly ambitious player and I think he certainly always wants to be number one in his position. So if, over the course of this season, Mourinho were to play Diomande more often than him ... it is highly likely that Vini would demand assurances that he will secure a place in the starting line up next season, otherwise, he might choose to leave. Vini has just signed a contract extension with Real Madrid. So if there were a situation where Vini really wanted to leave because he was no longer getting a place in the team, then I think Real Madrid would set a high asking price for him, and it would come as no surprise if Vini were to move to the Saudi Pro League, as there are quite a few teams there that could afford him.

It will depend on his performance at Real Madrid this season, the clubs that will be interested in him, and the amount Real Madrid will be willing to sell him for. If Vini's performances are not impressive, Real Madrid may decide to sell him, and he may also choose to leave if the club is interested in selling him. With Vini's recent performances, he is not meeting many people expectations. Real Madrid already have someone who could potentially perform better than him, which is Diamande. We are already seeing signs of that in Diamande's recent performances.Mourinho doesn't really care whether a player is a big name or not. If the player's performance doesn't improve within a short period, he will stop using that player.

I think the best option for Vinicius is just to leave the club and look for a new challenge in a different league. He has already won big trophies with Real Madrid and has given his all to the club. Arsenal were interested during the summer transfer window but he chose to stay back at Real Madrid but things aren’t going well so far with his performance with the club and it’s very much unlikely that If Diomande continues to perform very well the way he’s doing currently Mourinho wouldn’t want to risk his job by dropping Diomande for Vinicius.
