Any update on these coins? Looking for a good masternode coin that is still cheap, similarly to ChainCoin a few weeks ago.  I'm looking at Eternity Coin (ETN) becuase it's about $30-$45 to own 1 masternode that produces 7-10 ETN a day.  That's a pretty good ROI.  Any other coins like this?

Thanks for that! I wasn't aware of this coin until this post. At current exchange rate, a Masternode only costs .026. That's not bad for a potential 0.0002 a day or so for each node.. Definitely something to look into. Especially if there's going to be some more work done on this coin and the price could increase. Would be a good way to stock up on some ETN

I just didnt get anyone rush for coin and its masternode,
Proof of Stake technology is ways beyond it.

I prefer with highest price coin, others are not my choice.
If that coin has unique and it needs Masternode, it may change people oponion.

Footy Cash (FOOT) is the most promising Masternode coin.

Here's why it so promising:

FootyCash has seen a meteoric rise in valuation for the past month; with a price increase of more than 5000% on multiple exchanges.[/b]

https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Exchange/?market=FOOT_BTC#

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1374929.0

Here is why I think FootyCash is a great cryptocurrency:

1. Footy has Rarity - Only 4 million coins total can exist.  There is a small POS inflation rate - about 3% annually (for staked coins only).
How many of you can say like the Winklevoss twins - that you own whole percentages of a cryptocurrency.
Looking the current price of FootyCash you actually might be able to!

2. Footy is the first Fantasy Sports Crypotocurrency ever made. - Footy is the Bitcoin of Fantasy Sports!

3. Fantasy Sports is a multi-billion dollar industry - with tens of billions of dollars in annual revenue just for Fantasy Football alone!  If you count all the illegal gambling the figure goes much higher - maybe hundreds of billions? (not that I am condoning illegal gambling - but it's a fact of reality that must be considered anyway).

4. Coinmarketcap list just under 900 altcoins; of those listed only a  small percentage of altcoins have a cap of less than 4 million total coin.  Every coin on coinmarketcap with a rarity of less than 7 million total coins produced are all worth more than $2.00 USD - with the exception of Dreamcoin (because of YOBIT) and FOOTY CASH (which is currently undergoing a price correction: 5000% increase in the past month alone.)

5. The coin was greatly undervalued because of unawareness of the Footy cryptocurrency and Fantasy Sports as well.  As more and more people become aware of its value the price will continue to rise.

6. FootyCash has a great developer, active development, and the best community support!

7. FootyCash has a promising roadmap and is currently developing Masternodes for the next release:

From:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1374929.400

The coin supply will continue to remain low as initially intended.  We are currently testing the masternodes and will provide updates to the community as things develop.

Dev said masternodes are being tested  -  so, expect a new release soon.

8.  The name FootyCash may sound funny but "Footy Cash" is an actual English term (apparently):

     https://www.power100.com.au/news/local-news/81959-footy-cash-to-go-to-good-friday-appeal
     and
     http://www.heraldsun.com.au/ipad/california-club-brothel-sues-in-footy-cash-feud/news-story/bd77f7d397a34a067342a113b5bfa5d8

9. DraftKings, FanDuel, and other Fantasy Sports companies are getting the legislative green light to operate in most U.S States and other countries as well.

When these companies decide to follow the trend of most corporations and switch to blockchain technology - I guarantee you that they will take a hard look at FootyCash first!

10. Oh, and the price of Bitcoin is dropping and will continue to drop until the August 1st Segwit activation takes place.

While Bitcoin is dropping, FootyCash is actually gaining value daily.  FootyCash is a great store of value to weather this storm.

I'm not a huge fan of master-node coins, but every time I invest in one I profit from a really nice pump (likely due to the artificial scarcity created by encouraged node holdings.). Any coins starting up that look promising?

Thanks

Any coin has a huge potential, it depends on its project, people will invest more if that project develops well, then the value of a coin will increase, So, look at the potential of a project before investing.

Dynamic from the Duality-solutions project. This coin will be priced in at 7.00 at the end of the year..its a $1.80 right now.

Well said. I have checked Dynamic for a while now and looks like a very promising coin.

I came across BRO recently, Full POS coin with cheap masternodes to run.

Quite a cool idea, people listen to over 30 000 radio stations to earn bro, revenue earned from the website with the stations is given back in dividens to owners of their coin "BRO"

Say a coin is 1000 for a masternode and I got 8000 coins.
Is it better to make 1 node with 8000 coins or should i make 8 nodes of 1000?
Just curious to know if there is a difference between the 2.

You can't run a masternode with an amount of coin different from the request...
If the masternode need 1000 coins you should make a single transaction of 1000 coins, otherwise it will not work...
with 8000 coins you can make 8 nodes or just 1 node and let the other 7000 coins stake...

Cv2, which has one of the pivx dev working on it, you need 20 million coins to make a masternode.

You know you are sitting on a gem if no one mentions it Grin Guys have a look at the new Korecoin (Kore). promise you won't be disappointment. Korephone, tor masternodes, tor browser in wallet and even its own OS in development. The masternodes is not yet implemented but it should be soon as the new long awaited revival of KORE releases. Dev's said it should be in the range of 200 to 500, I went for the later just to be sure Wink

Anyways see for yourself. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2096416.0

Check Syndicate (SYNX) out. Brand new team and they have very recently moved into new offices with new website and new wallets around the corner. Check them on Twitter. You'll see how young the new team is and what they have planned. I recently picked up 5000 coins for about $1000 which is cheap if this Masternodes company starts going places.

I think the era of master node coins is over for now. But they might come in the next year again. At the beginning of it.

Look into DAS. Super cheap to get a node up and running and is making me some decent coins already. Also a pretty strong community that is helping the coin. That would be your best bet IMO.
