Update from Ivo
"Hi everyone,
A quick update on the progress we’re making.
I just got of the phone with the law firm that is helping us with establishing the Bitcore Foundation,
Though there are some delays, we’re making good progress. We can avoid the delays by switching to an other party, but that might get us in to trouble in the future and we’d like to do right from the start, so we are opting for an established firm to help us set this up.
As you might have seen on the photos from the BTCM event in Essen, we took possession of the first production version of the BTXM.
You might have also noticed that this is a 2 screen version. The top screen can be used for advertising, promotion and info on services. The presentation we did for our speaker slot, sparked lots of interest from crypto media as well as other parties. Me and Jon both gave an interview on ATM integration as well as the BTXM. Besides that we also made some really good connections and we will most likely be doing a slight respec on the BTXM because of interest of a big service provider and we will be discussing a collaboration with them."

Thanks for the update. I am very enthusiastic about the BTXM/ATMs that are being launched. Having something accessible to everyone on the streets like a "regular" bank atm is very crucial for getting Crypto introduced to the every day masses.

Being a fork of Bitcoin, the BTX in relation to mining, will the difficulty be increased similar to  BTC mining?

Specification
- BitCore BTX
- Core 0.15.0.2
- 21 Million Coins
- 2,5 min block time
- DefaultPort = 8555 - RPC Port 40332
- Segwit and Bloom active
- 20 MB Blocksize (10 MB + 10 MB Segwit)
- Algo Timetravel10

- Diff Retarget: Bitcore 64_15

difficulty when mining is automatically readjusted depending on network ,

works quite well having mined over 10 BTX so far .... Wink

The BTXM looks slick and the idea to implant another display just for showing infromation and advertisments is great! Smiley

If it wasn't for the bear market we would be already be set for the moon. Smiley

Also, don't forget to vote on https://www.getadcoin.com/vote/#submitvote, Deeponion community only needs 100 votes to overtake us and there is only 2 days left to vote!

Yes, I think the DeepOnion community will not make it easy for us. They will probably push again to get the first place. So people, vote for Bitcore!!!  Smiley

https://www.crypto51.app/  shows how easy it is to 51% attack some of the smaller PoW coins. For some coins, 100% of the hashrate can be rented from NiceHash, which removes the capital costs of the attack!

that's unfortuantely not the case.
when the whole market goes up btx still goes further down.
as you can see right now we have another all time low (not really all time low but looking at the last years).
btx just keeps falling for no particular reason.
even in a bear market btx usually falls further down than bitcoin and many other coins.

It's very simple, everyone has an option, to hold or to sell.
Analysing or better to say guessing  why some other people are selling their BTX is useless for you.

you are absolutely right and that's why i'm hodling long term like i do with all of my coins.
i just determined that in crypto logic shit coins rise up and stay into the top fifty in market cap while the real good coins with good projects and good technical structure just fall down further and further into the 200s.
that's just the opposite of common logic.
but i'm hoping that some day the crypto logic will come near or even become equal to the common logic.
but this process (if it ever happens) is definitely nothing for weak hands.

Come back in max 5 years and the good project will be at least in the top 50 on coinmarketcap while today's shitcoins will be long forgotten or just not enough significant. For now crypto is the wild west. Smiley

That machine is really huge and will definitely attract some fresh pair of eyes maybe even from people who never heard about BTX before or even about crypto whatsoever Grin

I agreed with you......!!!!!! The BTXM will make a revolutionary changes in the CriptoCurrency market for the bitcore..... Though at present the market condition is not good... Soon we will notice an anonymous changes of this coin......!!!!!!
