Is this the official page? I've never heard of her. Is it a Bitcore Web wallet or some kind of regular scam to entice a private key? If someone knows the answer, tell please.

Ah, so this is the reason the price spiked 20%. Definitely a good sign. I shall take a look at the whitepaper when I get home.
The Whitepaper release is a good news. I will definitely read this document. It should be interesting. I believe in the project, i believe in the team. I'm still HODL (buying and mining  Grin)
The majority of the content in this so called "whitepaper" has no place being in a whitepaper; fallacies all around in a novel type enclosure. You have to be deeply invested or loaded with kool-aid to think that it has any substance let alone to think that it is a good "paper".

Bonus: Also filled with lies such as

Quote
Schnorr Signatures
Advertised as one of the ‘cures’ for Bitcoin’s scaling problem, the Bitcore team is currently closer to implementing this solution than any other team of developers.
Roll Eyes

Please note that this whitepaper is a leak and not a final version.

Now it’s clear why the paper are missing on official site. Smiley

Nothing harmful over there its wrapped around api calls.

backend_bitcore.js
// Back-end for insight.bitcore.cc API

no, never ever put an existing private key or pass phrase somewhere!
if it would be legit it would never ask for your private key or pass phrase!

Many of us don't know what is white paper....... What are the benefits of this....!!!!! We feel proud that Bitcore white paper will be released soon. I just want to give a brief description about White papers:-
White papers are details guide of a project that places an emphasis on technical or industrial details. It is a report that presents an unresolved challenge with solutions to overcome it.
A white paper is a document that follows a strict format. The general outlines are as follows:-
1) A problem being presented.
2) solution to the problem.
3) the technology.
4) platform and processes that execute the solution.
5) the applications of the solution.
6) the team.
7) the resources
In the white paper of our coin I believe we get all details about the above topics that our coin will be reached in a high level.......!!!!!!
Bitcore is the new generation of Bitcoin.... When Bitcoin project had been launched in 2009 nobody knew where the coin will be.. But today this coin lead the CriptoCurrency market..... I think Bitcore will be the most valuable., promising, attractive, demand able coin in 2020....!!!!

wtf klaaas, what are you promoting here?

You should be scared for anything online that deal with keys, i like that approach.
The site i pointed at isnt more then a wrapper.

I use it for the puzzle and should not be used as permanent or longtime storage but as a quick way to get access to or create a temporarily wallet.
Google some and you will find https://bitcore.cc/tsbw/ and https://github.com/dArkjON/tsbw
More brainfood here https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Brainwallet

Anything done online isnt safe enough when the terms private key and crypto comes along. I would suggest to generate a wallet offline and keep it offline and use that for safe keeping or next best a hardware wallet. [BTX support soon !]

And this is only a rough copy mate, wait until the real deal comes off. Gonna knock your socks off  Wink. Not gonna lie 60 pages is a lot of for a non technical guy like me, would have preferred a 25-30 page paper. But more detail never hurt nobody I suppose Smiley.

But some parts can also be left in there, without an issue. Even though they might not really belong. The term Wp in crypto, is used very loosely anyway these days.

It's been a while since I read steem's paper anyway. But I'm not here to read a whitepaper bednight story for you. You are free to read multiple papers, and compare them yourself. I'm sure when you are done reading, you will notice that most of the content therein doesn't belong in bictore's "whitepaper". I'm not implying that it's a scam or illegitimate. Just that most content therein doesn't belong in "whitepaper" imo.

You can’t cater to people specifically sometimes. Like I said, the people who know will know. And the rest will either not care, or take the time to find out.
And I said, it’s not perfect, but I’m thinking it wasn’t ever gonna be much different or better.

bitcore.store is not an official Bitcore website.  I would remove this from your post from before.  Bitcore.store is asking for private keys and Passphrases.  This has nothing to do with a virtual wallet and is most likely a SCAM.  The Bitcore Team will never ask for PVT keys or Passwords.

The Bitcore Team will never ask for PVT keys or Passwords.

you should indeed never share a password or private key.
Depending on the purpose its could be used as a quick wallet option.

Nothing is stored it will all happen in your browser. You can use it local if you dont trust the source where it is hosted.
As the github says: 'The code is based on coinb.in, forked form tsbw.io (see https://tsbw.io) and BTX support was been added.'
'You can enter a compressed or uncompressed WIF key as your passphrase; this means you can use the same wallets you have at https://coinb.in or any other wallet that allows exporting in this format.'

Brain wallets are never considered safe, Its the purpose your going to use them for if you can consider it safe enough.
You will not make a paper wallet and generate it online and use it long term or with high amounts  https://walletgenerator.net/?currency=Bitcore

I pointed this site out because i use it for the puzzle and it is a easy way to verify keys and can be used as a quick wallet solution.

Found an error in the Whitepaper.
Page 53

"So, since there are 1,000,000 bytes in 1 MB, that means that 4464.285 (approximately) transactions can be handled per second. "

Correct would be

"So, since there are 1,000,000 bytes in 1 MB, that means that 4464.285 (approximately) transactions can be handled per BLOCK. "
