You could buy about 350 BTX with that if you take it over to cryptopia and trade for it. Otherwise you had to have had bitcoin at the time of the snapshot to claim 1 to 1.

Irrelevant reply, bitsend and bitcore are easily known as related.  There will most likely be a price drop because all current btx holders are looking at an approximate x15-20 of their coins
Question is even if you have them for $4 each, can you after november buy 20 for less btc than a btx is today; or for .20 cents each.

Just to tell you but the distribution method has not been finalized yet. The devs may indeed drop the rest to the holders in steps which would limit the issues that you are pointing out. At any rate, that sort of drop in price would only lead to savvy people buying the cheap BTX and then bringing the price back up. This has some serious promise as it can scale better than almost anything else out there. Critically assessing things is fine but please keep your outright negativity to yourself.

Dear Mr 4000 % decrease

ok here is some math for u for ur worth case scenario:

if u buy 100 coins now u pay roughly 400 dollar. Cause of airdrops till november u will have 100*1.03^8 = 126.6 coins
the final airdrop (i assume ther will be more then one to prevent the "bloody massacre") will give u about 15 times the coins u had. So u have 1900 coins. 1900*0.1 is 190 dollar.

In ur worth case scenario u will loose half of ur money. Yeah really what a bloody massacre

I think till november the price will be much higher and if the airdrops are done correctly it more likely to go from 20 dollars down to 1 after airdrops. In this case ur inital 400 dollars are now 1900 this is a gain of 475% .
But anyway u life in a world where 4000% decreases are possible i assume its our luck that u turned ur back on us. XD

I just bumped into Bitcore and would like to try to claim some. Am a windows user and would prefer not to install the full client ( don't want to download and store the whole blockchain) but am not sure if there is a lite client and which one is it.

I downloaded from github the zip file for windows and I can find four wallets in it:

1) bitcore-cli.exe
2) bitcore-qt.exe
3) bitcore-tx.exe
2) bitcored.exe

Is there a light wallet amongst the above mentioned one? If not may please someone address me to a trusted light one?
