Let's stay under the radar until the 30th Wink

Don't spread to much the word about it.

After the 30th, gogogo for massive SPREADING

Don't be greedy dude, that's what banks are for. Crypto is supposed to be the opposite. The more people that know the better. Better for the $BTX community and better for crypto in general.  Wink

For the BTC snapshot on the 30th - will BTC held in a new SEGWIT address (beginning in a 3XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX...) work or do I have to move it to a legacy address (and pay the BTC transaction fee)? I have been having problems linking this BTC address to the ByteBall airdrop and I dont want BitCore be the same issue.

Thanks for your response

No one knows the answer to this?
Thanks in advance for your help.

About the block claiming at https://bitcore.cc/claim.php
I have literally hundreds of addresses.
And no clue which ones had balances on 2017-04-26

questions:

Do you have a fork of electrum for your coin?

or

Can electrum wallet files be imported into your wallet?
Can bitcoin private keys be imported into your wallet?

or

Do you have an API where I can quickly check a balance for an address?

Thanks

Can you explaine, please? How I can receive first airdrop? If I install wallet, Ill receive some tokens? And than Ill receive 3% every week?

you will need to buy or mine some BTX to your wallet.

You need to buy or mine and need at least 10 BTX or more in your wallet before Monday.

So here no free airdrop more? If Ill buy tokens, Ill receive 3% every weeks? Until which date?

From November 2nd, the weekly airdrops will be paid only to registered adresses. You need to have a minimum of 10 $BTX in your wallet to get the airdrop. Download the wallet and go purchase at least 10 $BTX from the exchange.

What you mean "to registered adresses"? Where I must register? Amount of airdrop will stay same?

Also yes, why don't the bitcore dev buy it for us with the airdrop pot ?
Because it is intellectual property. Can not buy and give out to people just like that.

That is not true.  ccminer is gpl’d software, and the gpl explicitly allows you to give gpl’d software to anyone you wish.  sp is actually violating the other developers copyrights by not supplying source code with it.

There is nothing wrong with selling it, as sp has, but he cannot legally prevent anyone he gives or sells  it to from giving or selling to anyone else.
Its kind of more like "don't be a dick" if all the software devs only sell one copy and then its free they'll stop making things it sucks.

I mean think about how it feels for the bitcore devs to have basically had their coin cloned and renamed bitcoin gold and getting a ton more press for no real reason.

(I know I would be inclined to not want to develop anymore personally speaking)

What about how the developers of ccminer like alexis78 and tpruvot feel having their work appropriated and then sold by sp, in contravention of the license?

Why would you be concerned about protecting the intellectual property of someone that is himself exploiting others intellectual property?
Does SP nothing do? He has the right to demand payment for his work.
No one developer will agree to do something, if only one pays, and everyone will use it. So it happened with Spmod_2. One moron put the mod in public.

I want to buy Spmod_3 in a fold with several people, please send suggestions.
Are you fckin kidding me? Your argument is basically, it's not OK share a license you bought and in the next sentence you're asking for people to share a license?

lots of interest in this one.. hoping to get some when the snapshot is taken on October 30..

25% with a 3% compounded interest? Yes please!

i think this one can be the next decred if they play well their cards, it has a very good roadmap and a dev which know what to do, the current interest is already very high, but i would do that you need more coins if you want to have it last, so investors need to buy more

what do u mean current interest is very high? the 3% air drop = interest? No no
This is to distribute the unclaimed coins, not the POS

Do i get it wrong?

Sp3 mod is completely bullshit. Just a trick. Increased intensity and nothing more. Ah, and donate. Sp2 is better.

Is there a tutorial on how to sign a message for we non, technical people. I can see that the new registration for the airdrop is out and I don't want to miss out on the 25% airdrop

I feel the same as you in these situations never want to mess it up. Take a look at this post below a few pages back it cant get much easier than that I think. Hope that helps!

If your wallet is encrypted/locked and you don't know how to/don't want to decrypt it, follow these steps.
1.Open Bitcore
2.Click file
3.Sign message.

follow screenshot below.

When you click 'sign message' it will ask for your passphrase.

Thank you so much the break down helps alot, I was surprise to see that the number has not soar high, it seems the market is underestimate the potential of this project but low interest in the Airdrop means more tokens for me

I don't think some people understand they need to have at least 10BTX tokens in their wallet to receive the weekly airdropping, maybe they think it is the normal airdrop that you just need to register your address only

You don't need to have anything, but then you will get 3% of that same anything.

Policy about 10 BTX minimum for airdrop is discarded.

"
From november, the 2nd, the weekly monday airdrop will be only paid to registered adresses. The rule to have min. 10 BTX in your wallet will be dropped.
