what if i have no btx if i sign up and download wallet and everything does it still add something every monday??
you get every monday 3% of your current balance. So if you have 0 BTX in your wallet you have after monday 0 BTX * 3% = 0 BTX + 0 BTX .

What is reading lost on people? Can they not read the OP ever? Time and time again you get the most simpleton questions and if they took even 1 or 2 minutes to read the OP you likely find answers to 80% of questions. Oh

well now I am gonna turn up the trollmeter a little bit because this is getting ridiculous and out of hand. Nice answer @minestro I got a good chuckle from it Cheesy

you mean this?

We will create an actual snapshot of the bitcoin blockchain in october, the 30th. Every adress with min. 0.001 BTC will be funded with 40% Bitcore (BTX) of the total amount per bitcoinadress.

Every address? What about new SEGWIT addresses (that start in  3XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX) How are you supposed to sign a message from one of these and prove ownership of the account? (I was under the impression you couldn't do this).

I would like to know this as my BTC is on one such address created by my Ledger Nano and I am worried I will not be able to participate in this portion of the airdrop (similarly for other airdrops like the ByteBall one)

Depend on the how BTX would fare in the future so users choose to hodl or sell, which will cause inflated.

Hi, Guys!
I have a question about btx future.
All users that register before 30 oct are interested to buy btx to they local wallets and in mining this coin cause of 3% weekly airdrop. It's clear.
But what about new bitcore users that are going to buy/mining btx after 30 oct? They won't be able to get that 3% airdrops. What's are they motivation in this coin?
I'm interesting in btx rising and have registered for airdrop but what about others?
Till 30 oct I think we'll have about 5-10k registered wallets but I can't guess why other people will invest in btx without weekly airdrops? The only motivation that I see is price rising on different exchanges. But after 30 oct we'll have a very big abyss between end of airdrop registration and a time when most coins will be distributed between users and due to this fact new exchanges will be opened for btx.
After this happens we can get price rising cause of daily trading amount rise.
I think we need very strong and even unique arguments for all new users to motivate them inverting this coin.
It's only my opinion but it would be great to get Dev's comments to this.
Thx!

Its good to critesise for the positief. I am not a miner but read few post back, there are. So its profitable. After october i think there will be a dump periode in novenber. But 3% a week is a pretty sweet deal.

Making comparison with other BT forks and clones is a fair i think. BTX has good potential for keeping. I will be happy even it overdue bitconnect or some of that kind.

Hey BTX team! If you need an animation video for BTX do let me know. I have created about 70+ 2d animation videos till now and I am really interested in your project. I can trade my service for your BTX  Wink Let me know if interested.
Here is something similar what I can do for you: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0UBk1e5qnr4
But, if you can deliver something like that, why don't you just link to one of your 70+ videos?

Hey! Nice question Smiley. Well, the videos I have done so far are not related to the crypto world. Here is my animation portfolio:

when I'm playing around with the online paper wallet generator
on the left corner bottom, I found a link to download source from github but it's for bitcoin
it seems bitcore is using exactly same address generator as bitcoin
any address created on either generator works/confirms on the other (both) network
am I right on this? furthermore, if they're identical...
would signature produce by bitcoin wallet also be verified by bitcore wallet?
I probably could answer this myself but my bitcore wallet keeps crashing when I run it
so... is the signing algorithm and result also the same for bitcoin and bitcore?

---snip---
But what about new bitcore users that are going to buy/mining btx after 30 oct? They won't be able to get that 3% airdrops. What's are they motivation in this coin?
I'm interesting in btx rising and have registered for airdrop but what about others?
---snip---
I believe your statement is not completely correct
there is NO deadline for registration as far as I now
the only deadline I know, Oct 23rd, is for getting extra 3% airdrop on top normal 3%
everyone including new user (registration req.) can still enjoy the 3% weekly airdrops
after Nov 2nd, the min 10 BTX requirement is also removed but only registered address get airdrop
