hitbtc will give btx more exposure and hence many new members will join bitcore.

when it goes to hitbtc it will go to the moon. hope people will appreciate the coin just like as bitcoin cash. segwit2x + 20mb blocks is way more than bcash.
Remember that Bitcoin is still beta software. Don't put all of your money into BTC!

This is what I think will happen too or what I hope what will happen actually. As long as people realize bitcore has better specs no reason people shouldnt pick it up over bitcoin cash. But that is granted they know this information

which seemingly the bitcore community is doing good at getting out there.

Exactly! Help spread the word about how superior Bitcore is to Bitcoin Cash. Once people begin to take notice, they will realize that it's foolish to spend $1300 on an inferior Bitcoin Cash, when they can buy the superior Bitcore for $25. We should all target Bitcoin Cash thread on Reddit. I've got some people to look into Bitcore by just posting there.

What has happened to the paper wallet?
You can create a wallet but then the wallet address cannot be reached.

If I understand you correctly you used the BitCore paper wallet generator to create a paper wallet and would now like to access the addresses that it generated for you.

In order to be able to access, you have to import these private keys into your BitCore wallet.

Great news regarding the price as I woke up was not expecting a huge increase like this...however is anybody else having issues connecting to the wallet? My sync is being super slow and was wondering if the network was being affected today?

edit: now it says error with block database. rebuild database? ....this does not seem standard at all and may be a problem on my end but I dont want to mess things up. should I rebuild the database or simply uninstall the wallet and reinstall it with the wallet.dat?

Hello Bitcore community,
The message is getting out there and I think that we should all make an effort to post a comment in support of Bitcore on Bitcoin Cash thread or wherever people are seen arguing between Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash. Bitcore is actually superior to both Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash. So, why shouldn't Bitcore be in the conversation as "The Real Bitcoin"? You don't have to worry too much about Bitcoin Cash people getting upset. I've only had one person who seemed upset and I simply told him that he needs to join the Bitcore revolution or get left behind because Bitcore is the better coin. You don't even have to argue with people, just jump in on the conversation and post the reasons why Bitcore is better than Bitcoin Cash and that's it. People will start taking notice and once CMC corrects the numbers and we become a top 30 coin, we will moon.

Since the Bitcoin Cash is the focus in the crypto space due to what they tried to pull off last weekend, we can get many of their followers to stop wasting $1300 on an inferior coin and buy Bitcore.

If you need a brief comment, just post something like this:

Bitcore is a better coin than Bitcoin Cash. Bitcore is faster than Bitcoin Cash and has a larger blocksize 20 MB (Bitcore) vs. 8 MB (Bitcoin Cash). It has Segwit and Bloom Online and it's only trading at $25. Why waste $1300 on an Inferior coin such as Bitcoin Cash? Join in on the Bitcore revolution or get left behind.

In addition, Bitcore has a 3% airdrop every Monday, as long as you own some Bitcore coins in your wallet and register the address on www.Bitcore.cc. The airdrops will increase to 4% next month, 5% in January, 6% in February and continue to increase by 1% each month until the coins have been fully distributed. That's free money every Monday, which other coin offers you that?

Hi folks.  If my BTC were on a Ledger for the initial airdrop, I'm out of luck right?  I'm read thru the thread and still can't find an answer.

Thanks!

Distribution for BTC Holder
First Round -done-
BTX claiming with BTC Snapshot 463619 (minted : 04/26/2017) until 0.01 BTC
Every BTC holder can claim his coins with the
BTC Signature 1:1 1BTC = 1BTX.

The claiming period is 6 months until 11/02/2017.
After this period we split the rest to the BTX Holder in steps.
10% from the unclaimed rest is for the BitCore Foundation.
We make small airdrop rounds in the future.

Second Round -done-
BTX claiming with BTC Snapshot 492820 (minted : 11/02/2017) until 0.01 BTC
8,315,868.54 BTX was loaded to 5,176,350 Wallets 11/06/2017
BTC via Bitcorechain 1:0.5 1BTC = 0.5BTX
https://pastebin.com/8zsTCs6r
https://bitcore.cc/snap-492820.zip

__________________________________________________________________
Distribution for BTX Holder
Every registered bitcore holder with a wallet loaded with minimum 1 BTX gets
an special onetime airdrop of 25% instead of 3% !
These and all other Airdrop will be only paid to registered addresses with minimum 1 BTX.
Please register your address on https://bitcore.cc/airdrop.php

It would seem that you missed out on the initial airdrop as claiming period for that ended on 2 Nov; however, another snapshot was taken on 2 Nov for next round of airdrop which is current.  So whatever you had on ledger 2 Nov at the snapshot, you could proportionally get 0.5 BTX for every 1 BTC in addition to distribution above.
