Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

can someone put up the formula for compounding this with an example, like 1000 coins, 12 weeks, +1% each week ?

I just calculated with 1% increase every 4 weeks (so monthly as said in ANN OP), holding 100 BTX now will give you 744 BTX in july 1 (aprox end of airdrops). 644% ROI, even if the price remains the same...well, this feels hot Cheesy

It sounds great and I like it but look at Byteball, after their biggest distribution round it dumped so hard.. hopefully this wont be an issue for BITCORE!!

Nothing happened after the big 25% BTX airdrop.  There was no dump.  Future for BTX looks incredibly bright.

What a lovely surprise to see the price of BTX at these levels.
Glad I claimed now when they were only around $1. I almost didn't bother.
Thanks to the various airdrops, my holdings are now 5x and price is 40x.
What a return!
Go BTX.

It seems you did it all very good and you are a very lucky guy right now.  Smiley And i think we are still at the beginning of something very great. Can´t wait to see what will happen next.

Any info on how to claim the BTX on coinomi wallet?

Just read it on their site, I guess I should have used the Windows wallet. Sad

"Right now importing a private key for Bitcore is only possible with the Bitcore Core wallet."

The only reason that happened is because people got Byteball for free if they had BTC also compounded 6-7 times (and a lot of people registered for the airdrop, including big ICOs although they didn't dump, small weak hands did), most people don't even claim their free BTX here (8k$ ofc BTC gives you free 20$ in BTX, people don't claim that little money) they rather buy it on exchanges. If the same dump will happen to BTX, it's not coming before June-July next year (that's the higher airdrop %) so we got bulls running up the price for half a year.

no fake promos or pumpers needed >.> this is organic grassroots bitcoiners Wink BTX weeee
lmao, so you say bitsend is scam and his signature campaign for scammers?  Grin Bitsend and bitcore it is from same developers, and because i ask this)

@Kryptowerk,

Will you be able to get a correct circulating coins / market cap on CoinMarketCap and CoinGecko in time for the launch on HitBTC?
Sorry to say but this is starting to feel awkward at this point... no offence intended.

--ypsi

I understand your frustration, we are not too happy to have such a delay with a correct displayed amount on cmc, too.
HoweverI just had a conversation with Jon. Both, Chris and Jon are suppy busy and I can assure you they have prioritized this issue and are working hard to present super-simple-to-digest data to cmc, so something like this will not happen again.
Until then please stay patient and enjoy our ride into top100 even though suppy is almost lacking 90% of our actual coins.

Kind regards,
David

It just seems odd that CMC would delay this so long. They've seen the volume and percentage increase of $BTX for a couple of weeks already. They're adding shitty coins everyday, but can't update the circulating supply of a top 20 cryptocurrency on it's way to a $500 million market cap?  Undecided  #FISHY

Any info on how to claim the BTX on coinomi wallet?

You need to create a new wallet, but do not delete the existing one. Private key does not move.

Follow the next steps.

Open your wallet, click on the top left menu, then hit the “+ COINS” button in the button and select “Bitcore” from the mind-blowing list of Coinomi’s 86 supported coins and 214 tokens.

A pop-up dialogue will appear, asking if Bitcore should be added. Hit the “ADVANCED SETTINGS” button. In the “Derivation Path” please enter:

M/44H/0H/0H

Please note that the characters before “H” are zeroes and not O’s.

Hint: If you have more than one Bitcoin wallets in your Coinomi and want to claim the equivalent BTX you will have to repeat the above process, replacing each time the last zero with the (zero-based) account index, so for the second wallet this would be M/44H/0H/1H, for the third wallet it would be M/44H/0H/2H, and so forth.

Now click “ADD”.

That’s it! Your BTX wallet is now ready!

After you move BTX from your newly created wallet to the old, you can delete the newly created.

Thank you.

But my BTCs are in different wallet (electrum) and was looking to import the private key of that wallet into Coinomi's BitCore wallet to claim the BTX. I couldn't see a way to do that.

In above steps, It is expected to have the BTC in Coinomi wallet with private keys on the device, and by creating new BitCore wallet and having the private keys there already it would claim the BTX in BitCore wallet, but for someone like me who has different BTC wallet, I couldn't find a way to add the private keys.

what the fuck is btx ?

its not a fork of btc and this coin has no fundamental except 10MB block and segwit 10MB.

This coin has no future and no structure behind (not a platform, not used by company, no usecase etc)

Only coin with low supply and no use case.. seriously!

Ok go away... Nothing to see

lol wow nice argument!!

Tell me why btx is not a shitcoin ?

Why you say this is a shitcoin? If we take after you say it what usecase has bitcoin or any other altcoin? I think this will reach 100$ at least next year.
