When I try to register for the airdrop, I get this error: Error: BTX public key or signed message not valid
I've had this before in the past, back then it was a server side problem with certain adresses if I recall correctly. I'm signing from an uncompressed address.
(I already asked this question a few days ago, but the thread is going so fast it got lost many pages back)
Do you sign it correct with the singning-msg created with the Bitcore wallet?

If anyone still wants to buy. I recommend Bit-Z even though they require KYC for withdrawal. Cryptopia is having some trouble with their withdrawal process and it took me more than 2 days to be able to withdraw the fund out. They are extremely understaffed for support right now when I talked with their admin. If you only want to trade on the same platform without withdrawing, Cryptopia might be fine though.

Gregory Westcott [7:17 PM] At any rate, I have contacted HitBTC for an explanation but we should get to the bottom of the issue shortly. There is no indication that our listing is in danger so just be patient.

Do you sign it correct with the singning-msg created with the Bitcore wallet? I signed it correctly with Electrum. BitCore doesn't have it's own message signing convention, does it? I assumed it's still compatible with Bitcoin signatures.

I bought BTC and sent them on cryptopia today. I exchanges them for BTX and send it back to the qt wallet. It took less than an hour (the whole process) and i already have BTX in my wallet ready for the airdrop. So I have positive experience with cryptopia.

And don't forget what bit-z requires documents verification and 2FA - so it can take 2 days. But after that btx transaction less than 30 sec.

I have used cryptopia for at least a year and never really had a problem with them, maybe twice they had maintenance so the wallet was offline but 99% of the time the withdrawals worked in under 5 minutes. They might be getting slower as they have more traffic these days but I'm sure they will add more staff if the traffic is consistently high enough.

Well, I just stated my experience with withdrawal from Cryptopia. Your mileage might vary. But I probably won't bet my luck on Cryptopia anymore as they make me losing money by getting my fund locked for 2 days. KYC at Bit-Z doesn't take up to 2 days, took me about 6 hours to get it done.

Not everybody uses and likes crypto just to sent his real credentials with a scan of the passport and photo to a hong-kong exchange which doesn't even inform about the need of Level 3 verification for ANY withdrawal. Bit-Z is really anything other than transparent. I don't like it.
