Quote from: crypsy
So what you're saying is wallet security is compromised and it's not safe to store coins there . In that case you should make announcement . don't you think ?
No, it's not what they said. Please read again.
It's never safe to keep a such amount in one wallet, even if you take all the precautions needed to secure it.
if dev is not feeling save why should you do ?
You can feel safe and take some extra-precautions. Don't try to create problem when there is none.
"In order to reduce security risks ......."
what are you ?-stupid or you can`t read ? SECURITY RISK he said and that is it !You must be be both .

Welp, I had to ignore both gembitz and vlad2vlad

Crypsy, it should say potential security risks IMHO. Breaking down a large wallet is proactive.

Quote correctly please, it is "In order to reduce security risks". Doesn't means there is a breach anywhere.
"reduce"

Me loves seeing dumb FUDders. I can see all (dev) funds clearly on the explorer. Anyone with half a brain will understand that neither the security has been compromised nor has 1 BTX been sold. Been following Limx Dev's projects over the years and never has he disappointed anyone.

Also I don't understand why anyone is putting in the effort to even reply to that gembizz-jizzcake.  Kiss

I agree with some of you - an update in regards of hitbtc would be appreciated. However I was sceptical from the beginning. I have been around long enough to not trust any exchange. Scamming on every level is happening in this business.

This is an interesting project but I am hesitant to buy at such incredibly high prices. Big airdrops every week are sure to be dump fests. I'll buy in after airdrops are over  Smiley

Reminder!

If you plan to participate in the airdrop Please make sure all your BTX is stored in registered addresses

So many people miss the airdrop because they register a new, or empty address from their wallets

It only takes a few seconds to check your registered address on the block explorer https://chainz.cryptoid.info/btx/

You can also use coin control to see/move btx to where it needs to be https://www.docdroid.net/y6NFXYy/bitcore-coincontrol.pdf

Statement regarding Dev Fund Splitting

Dear Bitcore-Community,

In order to reduce security risks it has been decided to split the development funds into smaller chunks of 10k BTX.
These coins will not be moved and are still visible for everyone on the Bitcore blockchain, providing full transparency.
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/btx/#

Thank you for your understanding.

Your bitcore team.

Well, it's interesting that the security risks appeared after I asked yesterday what about the 1,500,000 BTX the devs were "rewarded" with  Smiley
Actually I think it is more the risk of people noticing that the devs own them or they plan to sell part of it Smiley
It will be difficult for one to keep track of 1500 wallets...
