Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

But the problem is it is hard to list on Binance currently. That is the problem of new coins.

Out of curiosity, what coin is btx truly competing against? Other bitcoin forks? Other speed of transaction solutions?

Frankly, I think BTX is competing with all currencies, to be the best of all.  Shocked

Why Bitcore: A new alternative?
● Bitcoin (BTC) has been reaching its limits for 2 years now:
– Only ~600000 transactions per day possible
– Vast increase in price → Extremely hight transaction fees,
especially in relation to small transaction amounts.
– Right now not suitable as payment coin
● Bitcore (BTX) was initiated at the peak of the scaling debate
of the Bitcoin-network on 24th of April 2017
● It’s a decentralized coin, always on track with the latest
crypto technology

Bitcore: creating facts instead of discussions
● Bitcore is already able to process 80x the transactions of Bitcoin
● Extremely low transaction fees (~0,01ct @ $20/BTX), even lower than
current Litecoin (LTC) fees
● → The ideal payment coin (VISA: 150 Million transactions vs. BTX: 48
Million, with LightningNetwork: 1+ Billion)
● The great advantage of BTX over some of the supposed competition
(Paypal, VISA, Mastercard etc.):
– No central authority → no dependency
– No horrendous fees for merchants, restaurant owners, webstores, hotels
and sales of any kind
– Great flexibility, everyone with a smartphone can get started easily.

I think it's at most competing with BTC and it's forks. It's not like Ether or IOTA with smartcontracts and IoT usecases. It's more about a real currency usage. With such transaction capabilities BTX has a real chance to become a widely adopted cryptocurrency used for real payments. But that's just my opinion.

Btc had problems with transaction costs, speed, scalability and Btx devs made Btx to show, that these problems are solvable, long before the forkstorm came.

I have a good feeling for April. Until then, everything else is calm before the storm. Do not bother about exchanges and volume, just like CMC case, everything will add up with time.

No such plans as far as I know. BTX was intended as a GPU mining proof-of-work coin from the start.
Check Bitsend (BSD) if you are interested in a top-tech masternode cryptocurrency.
