How much would somebody need to hold to be called a whale. As the price is just above $1.15 I am thinking of buying.

Could anyone tell me what to do to get my BTX from old winter wallet?

Which winter wallet?  Shocked

If you don't understand and can't answer then what is your post for?

 Maybe to increase post count?
Dump private keys from old client and Import to new client.

Sorry for the hassle with this address format change. I've been thinking for the best way to handle this, wouldn't want to disturb anyone mining with old addresses. I've noticed miners joining my pool from time to time with the new address format and wonder about their payouts - so far I've converted their balances manually to the corresponding old format address so that it's been paid normally among other old format users. But this is far from ideal, there's a delay that's not what is advertised at Elitehash and when it gets converted & paid the balance goes missing from the stats of the address in new format. Right now everyone has been paid, and I've found a solution that allows the pool to work supporting both formats seamlessly. I'll try to restore the missing earning & payouts to stats, too.

Meanwhile, the pool is paying 102.4% without variance, as usual, and there's a link to the converter. Whichever wallet version you use, you can mine at Elitehash right now without any problems, assuming you use the converter yourself, instead of waiting for me to do either that or the code for making the whole thing automatic.

Each person has his own understanding of the term whale. But the top 100 is too small. In my understanding, the whale is a large Holder, which has the ability to manage the market.

If you’re talking a potentially global payment coin then the top 100 puts you at Rockefeller level.

Pretty sure that’s a whale, eh?

I would say anybody holding a certain amount of coins depending on the market circulation and cost per coin is a whale.

I thought we would see a few more weeks of dumping but there’s a huge rebound today - this might be the real thing.

Edit:  in bitcoin and alts, not so much btx.

Tether is a great idea. As a way to hold crypto assets in a fiat based token rather than go through the hassle of withdrawing and KYC/AML BS.
Too bad it seems it is being inflated like fiat and the source of a lot of market manipulation.

Makes me wonder how hard the powers that (shouldn't) be are really going after (supporting) it?

Short question to ALL.
(I read something about wallets|addresses updates/conversion but without attention to details).

If now I will send BTX from bit-Z exchange's wallet (with new address starting with '2') to my old wallet address (beginning with '1') - what happens?
Am I miss my BTX'ses or they will be transferred without any problems?

Just don't want to convert old wallet right now if it is possible.
And, in the same time, I don't want to store anything on exchange for more than some days.

Thanx in advance!

BTX has the potential to be a serious player. Bitcoin Gold has made it in to number 25 by virtue of market capital so Bitcore can do it too

Great coin with great team Smiley

All those BTC forks cannot even be compared with Bitcoin as far as their tech and usability is concerned. Sooner or later the market will understand this simple truth.

Look at all those coins at 0.00019 BTC.  Roll Eyes

For those who are buying, you won't be able to withdraw coins from bit-z, btx wallet under maintenance there.

There are plenty of coins out there similiar to BTX and their value is far lower than what BTX is at right now. What is to stop the price going to .00001 or 1 cent?
