Hello people! Who knows what a parody of Bitcore appeared on the Coinmarketcap with the same name Bitcoin X (BTX)? Why are they doing that? I would understand it if Bitcore was very popular and famous.
i wrote them a post about this last week and got one reply. here's a link to the reply which quotes my post. they don't seem very active :
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4917645.msg47771066#msg47771066i also have a utility i wrote that scans bitcoin forum threads for accusations of scams (and other things). one person noted that the name "bitcoinX" has actually already been used - for a previous scam - and that person suggested that the reuse of names (both the coin name bitcoinX) is a ploy sometimes used by scams to create confusion. I'm not making a judgment as to whether bitcoinX is a scam, i'm just noting what others say.
