Obviously it was a huge bubble.

They had Electrum wallets, removed mass mining ASIC farm scams and had a great team behind it but something went badly wrong.

This is the coin that should have been a number two to Bitcoin but sadly Bitcoin Cash occupied that space. Now Bitcoin Cash ABC and Bitcoin Cash SV will battle it out and destroy each other, it would be ideal for BTX to move in but sadly Bitcore will not occupy that space.

Generally, everything is on the decline right now. Not only BTX, but even Bitcoin also went down from where it used to be. From 300 Billions to 70 Billions, and yeah something went badly wrong.
I just hope, it will survive. Last time we were facing this kind of drop in term of price is in 2014. And a lot of projects got burned because of it.

i just want to say something for me very interesting: this thread, have more replies than bch's thread. In my hopinion this is great.

This is an interesting remark, which is suggesting that coins can exist with a huge value even though they don't have a real community behind. So the value of BCH is possibly NOT the consequence of the existence of a committed community, but just of a committed set of big speculators. Just as an idea...

A large team of devs, tons of free press, large backers, over 1,000 patents and listed on every exchange might also be factors worth considering, eh?

It's a shining example how "money wins evil". Initial promotion, celebrities, Current "ASIC war" around BCH make it's deal.
BTX is better than BCH at all. But BTX hasn't that injection of money

Bitcoin fell deeply, which has terrible side effects on most of altcoins in the market.
BitCore, in my hope, will survive over this current down of general market.
In my opinion, we all have to wait till 2019 to see positive things in the crypto market.  Undecided

1000 patents? please expand ...

perhaps the word is out BTX is the ONE coin to RULE them all ...

one coin to find them (btc)

one coin to bind them (forked coins)

ONE coin to RULE them all BITCORE !!

exchanges predicting demand and closing withdrawal to cover bases? hmmmmmm..

Why would they close withdrawals if they’re expecting demand.  People tend to dump to move their coins out when that happens.  If you’re expecting demand you want people to send more btx to exchanges not less.

It is quite sad to see BTX decline like this.

They covered all the important issues when forked including blocking out ASIC miners and farms but BCH had such a hold on the "second to Bitcoin" fight that Bitcore did not get a chance to get in.

Now that BCH ABC vs BCH SV will be battling it out sadly BTX will not be able to take advantage.

i'm not convinced that BTX can't take advantage of the BCH fork. i posted to reddit a few days ago about this - you can read it here (you don't have to log in to read it) :  https://www.reddit.com/r/bitcore_btx/comments/9ztui1/learning_from_forks/
