let's go for the only real, measurable metric. how many dollars could you get if everyone in crypto sold everything at once?

in that scenario bitcoin will win, but maybe not by much as everything would be dead in a few hours.

bitcoin and alt 'net worth' is a fictional number on an exchange. it doesn't bear much relation to actual real rounded up spending power.

Bitcoin dominance (net worth versus net worth of others) is falling. Used to be like 99%, but now it is at 60%, its biggest "competitor" is etherium, which actually has 33% net worth of bitcoin. Now Ripple is also coming up along with other altcoins, as they gain on popularity, they will also gain in price. But Bitcoin might also have a price increase, so it might maintain it's dominance.
But i think, it will lose the dominance, and the net worth will become simillar with other top coins at that moment.

Bitcoin is still significantly ahead of the total altcoin market, but the difference between the two is definitely getting smaller and smaller everyday. As more legitimate projects and businesses start up in the altcoin space, the difference between the two will continue to drop.

If we are talking about how much of each coins has gone out, then i think bitcoin still is the leading coin. Moreoever if it is converted to dollars then bitcoin is a lot more greater than other coins. Possibly all others altcoins are the only one's playing over who has the next highest price.

I wonder what is the lowest % of total crypto cap that bitcoin can be and still function as the safe haven reserve coin of crypto markets? Anything below 30% and another coin could become the reserve currency, maybe ...
