Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Why don't you just send the funds directly to PM since it has a btc wallet and if I am not mistaken you can also exchange it to USD or find someone there to do it for you.

The best is yet to come!

Ya as said PM have built in BTC wallet . How ever you can not withdraw to BTC from USD wallet . from there site ( Can I withdraw funds to Bitcoin from my other accounts rather than PMB? )
(No, you cannot. Withdrawals to Bitcoin are only possible from PMB accounts.) so if you want to use pm you can use one of there internal approved exchanger to exchange usd to btc .
