I AM SO FRUSTRATED. I am trying to buy something (for the first time) that is 1.32 bitcoins which I thought was around 180 ish USD. I have transferred well over $250 dollars but only have 1.276... bitcoins in my account. I don't know what is going on, I want to give up Cry what exactly is the exchange rate?

Where did you buy from?
What methods did you use to pay?
How long did it take to get the coins?
When did you buy them (price vary a bit)?

I don't know what you mean exactly by where I bought them from but I used electrum, and bit instant. I deposited cash at a local store. It took a few hours to get the coins and I bought the coins yesterday and today..

I really don't know. The price is 1.32 BTC so what would the exchange to USD be? Around $173-180 correct? I deposited $210 which is, according to electrum is 1.2763.. and when I sent it to SR I had 1.25 (there's a fee somewhere there I think). The price of what I wanted definitely said 1.27 2 days ago but now is 1.32. So I sent $22 more (which should now be around $240) and I pretty much just kept this up and my electrum account appears to be correct (I fucking suck at math). I think its my SR account that doesn't seem right but I don't know I WISH SOMEONE COULD JUST DO THIS FOR ME

The fees are just huge on getting $$ into the Bitcoin world. Through whatever means really.

So what should I do??? I have 1.27 ish and need 1.32 ish. How much more money should I deposit tmrw so I can get this over with and just make my damn purchase?! And why is this so complicated to figure out, how does anyone learn enough to ever actually make it work! Please explain .... It appears I sent a total of around $240 but SR says I only have 1.27 BTC which is what?  $170ish? So there was $60 in fees? No way

If the bitcoin value remains the same, you will have to deposit around $7, not including any fees.

I just don't understand how the conversions just aren't adding up. If I deposited that much money, why don't I have all the bitcoins? How do you personally calculate exchange rate?
