Didn't someone come out with a much more powerful x11 miner? Either way buying and reselling these is as profitable as mining since you can flip for instant double your money, at least when they were in stock

Hi, are there any news from BAIKAL on the launch of new batch of CUBE / Giant or new miners?
Ceers W_M
er nope..an they likely will NOT be an annoucement...or there never has been on their web site before a sale I've ever seen....they just put them up for sale....like a crypto machine 'snipe hunt' ..catch all catch can.... fun folk....they like to just toss them out there on an unworkable web site and even if you are told all is well on your order the chances are 50/50 you will get it. They also like to say on one auction you had 2 hrs to pay from their email...that was fun being in USA an all and asleep at 3am.....poof and its gone So anyway out of 3 tries to get equip when offered....was told I had equip all 3 times....only got it 1 time..the rest I got follow up message they were mistaken or the good old 3am window was missed fun times, baikal has a unique way of selling stuff...... I've got something like this setup so when their quad cube goes back in stock even at 3 am I can spring into action to purchase lol. I Just hope they don't create a new webpage for when a new batch is released, and they just update the old one to say it's in stock. Do you know for sure what they do? https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/alertbox/They have updated their website frequently, almost as often as they release batches. If they don't release another batch in the next month or two I'm just going to buy Antminers and eat the potential profits because I don't want to wait much longer lol. It's going to suck because going with Antminers means more electricity, paying for rent for a warehouse, and less profits, but if Baikal doesn't release another batch by the end of summer, I'm not waiting around. Either way I'll be making a lot by mining. Either that or I'll probably go with the Antminer Litecoin machines which are twice as profitable as even Baikals. You could get Antminers and then if/when a new bactch is released send the Antminers to Giga Watt for hosting, it's cheap and if the Antminers ever break they have on site repair no sending back to China, actually better to mine Bitmain asics with Giga Watt than to host them at home, not to mention the noise factor

They're more than twice as profitable as Baikals. Sure it only mines Litecoin, but look at how stable Litecoin has been the past year. Who cares if they consume 800w per, I'll have power installed in a warehouse and rent it out for the amount of profits I'll be bringing in with those things. They have a ~40-50 day ROI. Hope they don't run out of stock soon I need to buy them.

You're likely not wrong. I'm going to hold off on buying anything from BITMAIN until the crazy UASF shakes out. It's the wild west, for sure.

Probably not a bad idea, I just don't see the possibility of bitcoin tanking from it to the point that it wouldn't be profitable to mine - or profitable to mine and hold on to the coins believing it will rebound. If you are mining at the moment however, what hardware do you own if not Bitmain?

Guys I just got some inside very trusted info regarding the Baikal situation.
It seems that they have no more chips for their miners at the moment and it is unknown if / when they can get some more.

I would prefer the Baikal over the iBelink any day of the week at this point from the info we have been told about the iBelink. Lets hope they are working on it.

To compete with ibelink new X11 miner, if BAIKAL can produce a miner with 50%-75% hashing power and with right price (IMHO they have a Better chance to do that) than it will be no brainer to prefer them over ibelink miners as they can mine 6 algos( number of algos may increase also). I know I am an optimistic fan boy of BAIKAL.

The iBelink is slated to start shipping the end of July. But as with all new miners they rarely if ever make the date. So you are likely looking at August/September time frame. And it is quite possible early batches may have their share of firmware and hardware issues as they will push hard to get these out as quickly as they can. If they deliver what they have stated so far it will be dramatically more efficient than the current Baikal miner.
So Baikal will have to update their existing miner if they hope to remain competitive.
