I just started a billion dollar project on bitcoin in my country Nigeria, if you wanna know about it or partner with us you can reply this post or pm me thanks
Omo 9ja, I guess you are learning Business 101 by now.
 1. You are going to get a lot of flak, just for mentioning Nigeria, and that in itself is a big caveat.  Because of the negative reputation of the country. All you should have done first is to sell your idea.
2. Every business proposition involves a form of risk. Everyone weighs the risk vs reward ratio, before deciding if to plunge in or take off. You will do well, if you can offer some assurances that could mitigate the risks. Have a detailed plan, this is what will attract investors.
3. A billion dollar project, is a tall order, even jumia, konga, remitano or luno don't do that volume of transaction. Although telcos like mtn etc are funneling that out of Nigeria and shoprite too.
4. Do your home work properly, sometimes you can run your idea solo and you don't need to crowd your head with unnecessary distractions from a bunch of jokers.
5. Start small and gradually grow your business.
6. Regardless of what people may say many investors have found out that Nigeria is a great place to do business but those who are looking for get rich quick schemes will be scammed. The IQ of an average Nigerian is 1000% LOL Cheesy

I find it funny how everybody just starts to troll Cheesy
Most probably you are the kind of people who would have turned down the Student Mark Zuckerberg when he asked you for $1000 for this "crazy, useless" website Cheesy

Ok Nigeria, one Billion Dollar project sounds a bit fishy but when you look for example at the gamble sector the African market is huge so why not for bitcoin?

Before there is no real proof if this is right or wrong you should not decide. I take on the challenge, if this address (158xW3o63zdGe6wCQH5edyrjm5RFzTqghn) is worth 10K till 1. December I open a new Thread, grab my camera, take a plane to Nigeria and make a V-log/Documentary about the Bitcoin situation there. If not I go most probably anyways for holiday Cheesy Cheesy

A billion dollar project that only few people will know? I pity Nigeria because their country will have the top spot on online fraud in the history because they have too many citizens doing scams on the internet.

Indeed! Much better if you introduce here in full details that billion dollar project for transparency of the community! Wink

Hello! So is there any update on this project? It's interesting to follow your post, to find out more about how it's going on in Nigeria, as the bitcoin market seems virgin there. So it's interesting how fast you move on with the idea.. Your experience might be useful for the new comers in this sphere

Such a great investment needs to be registered.  Giving something that is a lot of worth need proofs.  Something you can depend or a legal entity to at least you can chase someone in cases of fraud.  So before anything else, let it be registered in your Securities and Exchange commission if you have one and atleast you must present you feasibility study of the project..
