AmsterdamCoin master planAmsterdamCoin is currently about 1.5 years old and is ready to go for the next level. I have been thinking for a while about how we can get AmsterdamCoin to that next level. At the moment there is a lack of community support which we should solve. We need a large community and constant development of innovations. That is why I have come to this plan.
The plan is to draw the attention of the public by organizing a airdrop. We are going to give away 10 million AmsterdamCoin to 3333 people. So each person can get 3000 AMS.
How can I afford this?We did something that has never been seen in crypto. Yesterday we mined a special block (
1026181) that brought 40 million AmsterdamCoin to the community wallet.
How is this amount in the community wallet spend?It will be divided into 3 parts:
- Community expenses (20 million)
- Airdrop (10 million)
- Lead developer (10 million)
Community expensesWe will attract developers to extend the wallet features, build mobile wallets, upgrade code to bitcoin 0.14, and many more things that make AmsterdamCoin stand out. Over the next 10 years we will be spending the 20 million in small parts to developers that have contributed. Another thing we would pay from the community wallet are promotions. Things like Twitter campaigns, bitcointalk signatures, posts, reviews and so on. The core team of AmsterdamCoin will be extended with some roles like a marketing and or sales person that can get into the local stores and implement AmsterdamCoin in the local stores. A small part will be used to pay other expenses like seed nodes, VPS, domain names.
AirdropI have been around some time now on this forum and I have seen that airdrops draw lots of attention. This would be very helpfull to finally create a community where things happen. A place where people hold their coins to feel some incentive to be part of our community.
Lead developerFor all the effort I am going to put into this I will hold 10 million AmsterdamCoin. Those coins will not be sold before April 29 2027 (Ten years from now). As lead developer I have to have some incentive to put lots of effort into something. Just like in real life one should be rewarded for work. I will be only allowed to sell stake outputs.

When does the give away start and how to apply?It will start immediately. You can apply by sending me a PM with your AMS address. Your account must be at least 2 months old, so accounts from februari 29 2017 are welcome.
Do not post your AMS address in this thread! Please be patient, you will get your share as soon as possible. Remember that I have to send 3333 transactions out manually.
