I like this coins name. First it condensates then it rains . Fun way to look at the staking process.

Please, tell me, I have coins for more than a month, but in the line Stake 0.00, it should be, or something goes wrong?

How many coins do you own ? Is the wallet open always ?

2600 coins, the wallet is always open
Add the below line to your wallet config file, save and restart wallet:
staking=1

The first time I saw in the status of Stake is something other than zeros Cool

More like a thunderstorm lol It's been a great 24 hours for RAIN as now I believe pow is over and many people will start to stake which is pushing up the price as now they have to buy the coins on the exchange to stake. I can see RAIN at 1k sats in the near future and we never know it could be within the next week or so.

I can promote your project on X to my 100k+ followers for a reasonable price. Just DM me for prices.

Yo,

Is there some kind of way to calculate an optimized size of coin blocks for staking?

Like, should I use blocks of 1k coins or 10k coins....or....

Also can’t seem to find the wallet config file  (on OS X) ...cause I seem to have a little amount of connections...

grtz & thx

Are you using this wallet?

Here's a bootstrap if you need to re-sync - just place the bootstrap.dat in your %appdata%\ roaming \ rain folder before launching the client.

We were working on documenting the best way to stake - I have to find what was found so far - but for now, just use the largest blocks you can and you'll start to see rewards after a few hours Smiley

Not using that wallet cause it’s the windows one you linked Smiley

Using rain version 1.0.1.0 for Mac OS X...

Wallet up now for couple hours > only 29 connections...used to be more I think...

Thanks for the github link, but already checked that. I’m not a coder, although I do understand some lines in the Stakingcode part, but not enough to really figure it out completely.... :/
Guess I’ll just play around with 15k blocks or 25k blocks or something.

grtz

Thanks dev! I am so far enjoying staking RAIN as it has been rewarding earning me a stake every second day with 10k RAIN. I was lucky to earn 2 stakes in a row last week and I plan on adding more RAIN to my stack as I want to have at least 100k staking in the next 6 months from now.

It has been said already but the staking rewards are great. I really think 300-500 sats for this coin will be cheap as chips come a month, $600k marketcap? could be 6 mil easy Wink

It sure is and with just a little over 10k RAIN people could earn a stake every day or every second day. No one can really say how much coins they will earn from staking as I have had days where I earn 70+ RAIN and then days where I earn around 40 coins, my best day was when I earned over 100 coins from staking so like Rumhurius it's random and it also comes down to being lucky.

Demand is created only to get more RAIN by stalk  and Huh thats it

Seriously ?
copy/paste requires monkey intelligence
same intelligence needed to spend single W of power on this kind of coin

So electricity will be converted to coins , and demand for coins will rise because people are mining and are intelligent
NICE !

I really like RAIN but just had one hesitation before investing. Do we know who the team is, do they have public identities?

It is my final check before I invest.

Thanks!
