I really like RAIN but just had one hesitation before investing. Do we know who the team is, do they have public identities?

It is my final check before I invest.

Thanks!

Join our slack & I'll introduce you!  My identity has been public for a while now

can somebody say how stake weight is calculated? i see that it connected with coins age

Code:
int64_t nTimeWeight = GetWeight((int64_t)pcoin.first->nTime, (int64_t)GetTime());
        CBigNum bnCoinDayWeight = CBigNum(pcoin.first->vout[pcoin.second].nValue) * nTimeWeight / COIN / (24 * 60 * 60);

        // Weight is greater than zero
        if (nTimeWeight > 0)
        {
            nWeight += bnCoinDayWeight.getuint64();
        }

what weight will be if one stake 100 rain has age 1000 blocks ? ty

Hi,

I have been trying to stake coins using my mac wallet but it doesnt seem to work.

Left wallet unlocked for two days but nothing.
Hovering over the little blue cloud it says staking yet stake shows 0.00 rain.
Any ideas on how to solve these issues?
Thx

Any signature banners we can use to get the word out on here? Is a great coin for staking- I'm trying to accumulate more though before this rises past 1 million market cap.

Awesome suggestion, this is something we've been meaning to accomplish.  Anyone know of good sig designers?

Also maybe a Twitter/Facebook campaign would help spread the word. Signature campaigns are the best as I believe they get more exposure to the targeted audience on here.

@Dev maybe the same can happen for boat as well? it needs some attention as well.

I can promote your project on X to my 100k+ followers for a reasonable price. Just DM me for prices.

My network weight is now at 125,000 but I haven't staked anything in 3 days. It keeps saying about 8 - 10 hours to stake. It has been fluctuating around this "expected" number for days. Is that normal?

A lot of the time it comes down to luck as I have noticed that the network weight has increased now that the mining of Rain is over so it does make it more harder to earn stakes as there is more competition with many people staking. Do you leave the wallet open and staking 24 hours? or just a few hours per day?

I'd say I have it open about 20 hours a day. It did just stake finally though.

It's because I believe mining is over now and it's just POS from here. That is most likely why you are seeing 0 miners in the pools.

Glad to hear you finally got a stake, 20 hours is a good amount of time to leave your wallet open for staking but like I said a lot of the time it comes down to luck when staking even when the wallet is open 24/7.

yap mining is over.
and yeah a good ammount of coins to see some quick results.
Couple hundreds to couple k atleast.

Staking 5-10 Coins is pretty much useless.
Buy some moar then.
Should do awesome things on the mid/long run anyway.

Savage Coin with a lot of potential here.

Yeah I agree, if people want to stake Rain then I suggest at least 10k+ to get started as that will most likely earn a stake every day or every second day depending on the network weight. I also agree that this is a great coin to hold for the mid to long term as it does have potential to break 1k sats in the near future and is currently holding steady at the current price range of 700+ sats.

i find that this one need masternodes to succeed, like many other that are adding masternodes are very good trend now increase the interest from investors, look at chaincoin and espers, they added masternodes and boom price go to the moon, supply there is big also, chaincoin is 1/20 of this but espers is very high, with 500M coin this can be 10k satoshi if there was masternodes
