Anyone got those random "MAKE IT RAIN" staking rewards where you get nX rewards just because?
Lovely feature. Active dev team with a vision.

"General overview of the RAIN physical devices:
RAIN is a self-contained unit running an on-board processing unit, the ability to manage multiple external sensors and output(s) for connecting with other RAIN units. Units allows users to keep an eye on remote conditions from a secure web interface through any PC (via Condensate network).
RAIN features analog inputs and one digital sensor port. Up to four digital sensors can be connected by daisy-chaining sensors - this gives an individual network of RAIN devices the ability to monitor larger areas and/or longer distances.
Easily view and log temperature, humidity and dew point along with external sensors over the intranet or the Web, using either a web interface or the RAIN wallet. Open-source plug and play sensors are also compatible with RAIN devices - including but not limited to, humidity/air, temperature, water/air chemical levels, valve/seal sensor, power failure and more. RAIN's relay port is used to replicate configuration settings across multiple devices at the push of a button.
The web UI reads out an overview of sensor information along with real time environmental data. Measurements are logged allowing users to collect data and easily share that information to the Internet.
RAIN can trigger alerts - for example, if temperature or chemical levels fluctuate over a set value, the user is notified via encrypted messaging."
This is indeed a promising and fresh idea which runs along the lines of the coin name. How the coin itself would be involved in operating these RAIN physical devices is something to see..

There is no set amount that you would receive everyday. Its about 200% rewards annually So if you are staking 100k coins for the whole year you would end up with around 300k.

Yes this is an interesting feature that is something different, I for one would be using this feature. Rain is doing well right now and once the whitepaper is released I think we will see the price go over 1k sats, people are starting to know about Rain and how good the staking is with this coin.

Are there ongoing negotiations with bigger exchanges like Bittrex or Poloniex? Happy to be on board since 90 sat.

Wow Rain's value is increasing. Right now it's close to 800 satoshis according to coinmarketcap This is really exciting! I'm excited as I'm expecting Rain to rain down on me anytime soon, if not tonight then maybe tomorrow. Staking RAIN is very good. I thank the Devs for their efforts in making RAIN wonderful

I also have some Doubloon still in an exchange now. But I have no idea if I can stake it. I will have to do research for it then. Thank you Ryan for the information you shared.

Yes Boat can be staked but it's not like Rain with random staking rewards, Boat is 5% APR which is still good in my opinion. It's easy to mine right now and I believe the mining will be finished at block 700,000 so there is still many more months before we get there. I did post about Boat on this thread a couple of weeks ago but no one seemed interested but it's good to see that people are now starting to take notice of the dev's other coin. I have just loaded up on some more Rain while we are under 1k sats as I believe we will get there very soon, maybe once the dev releases the whitepaper we might break the 1k sats and could even break its ATH.

Hello, I am attempting to stake my RAIN coins, but have been unable to do so. Its been over 2 hours and I have not been able to establish a connection to the condensate network so I suspect I am missing key a step not covered in the condensate youtube staking video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W3Jc4298E7Q1. Max OS X on the laptop, downloaded the Mac wallet from condensate.co 2. The message I get is that "0 active connections to the network" on the bottom right 3. The network setting is checked on "Map port to PnP" What am I missing? Is there a .conf file that is needed which I have not set up? Or does this set up process take many hours to sync with the blockchain? Thank you in advance for the help.

Hi! Have you already encrypted and unlocked your wallet? because you need to do that so you can stake and make your staking weight go up. I started with about the same amount as you do. And that's how I did to my wallet. Then in about 3 to 4 days I receive earnings. Now, I have bought and added more RAIN and my earning RAINs are doing good.
