I moved over to BISpool and my stats showed up poolside right away, thanks for taking the time to help out. It may have something to do with the linux distro I am using and the other pool that was not registering my worker.
Good yo hear that you managed to find a pool that fits your OS. Enjoy your mining! If you have any issue don't hesitate to join Discord #mining section and ask for help. P.S. Don't forget that now you can dump the coins mined on Hubi.com too https://www.hubi.com/#/exchange/bis_btc no dump, pump needed thanks for reminder about Hubi, i still was on graviex someone sold here small amount and price dropped to 890 sats

Some info I want to let you know. 1. Hubi's $BIS trading volume has been added to coinmarketcap. 2. Hubi's trading competition has ended and all traders should have received their shares.

As for the dump, is ok because miners needs to cover their expenses. Some info I want to let you know. 1. Hubi's $BIS trading volume has been added to coinmarketcap. 2. It could be related to the diff variation in the chart below but I am not sure so is better to ask the pool owner EggDrasyl. Source: https://hypernodes.bismuth.live/plots/mainnet/diff.phpTip: For a faster reply better ask in Discord dedicated channel #eggpool from the Mining section, here is an invite link: https://discord.gg/H4eshWX

I rarely check here, way more active on discord. Could have a look with your miner address. Can be the day/night oscillation: see the difficulty graph, atm it's spread over 106 https://hypernodes.bismuth.live/plots/mainnet/diff.phpand that gives very different blocks count for first 12h and latest 12h. See on eggpool home, it's also visible - both for egg blocks found, and network blocks found (not a pool issue) This behaviour depends on the net hash and adjustment algo. If hashrate is stable, diff converges. There, it keeps oscillating. Miners mining only at low diff do feed that behaviour.

Following BVGP-01, Bismuth Hard Fork at Block 1,450,000 is coming soon, in about 21 days.
We will have the release ready in a matter of days, the target is start of next week.
Service and $BIS node operators please be ready to update asap, and in the worst case, before the fork.
Thank you, Bismuth Foundation

Glad to see pow mining staying with reduced rewards although I will probably never end up with a hypernode at this point. Has anyone upgraded a legacy wallet to the latest hardfork wallet and if so did you encounter any issues?

You can always buy the missing coins for your HyperNode As for the upgrade it went smooth on my side, I upgraded my VPS hypernodes yesterday and they are working well for about 20h.

Wallets themselves do not even need an upgrade. If you run a local node (not mandatory) then you need to upgrade.

I am watching this project since its inception and I didn't saw a more dedicated team and skilled at the same time on any project out there. The commitment is at the highest levels on Bismuth and the recent community implication implementation (community voting implementation) is another feature which makes me appreciate the guys behind this project. Looking more in depth especially on Github you can see the amount of work they put and the skills of the developers.
To make a fully functional blockchain from scratch in Python and implement this amount of features is telling everything about the developers, they simply rock. In comparison I think of Tezos which took 1 year to launch a blockchain with 30+ developers and hundred of millions of dollars. We could talk about Ethereum which struggle for years now to move to POS. And the examples can continue until morning if you wish.
Why I am telling this? 1) Because I love this project and of course is a rare life changing project, is not about if is all about when, because is just a matter of time until it will explode in terms of price, at $0.10 is just ridiculous cheap, buy it and thank me later.
2) Because I want to thank the team and all the people involved in this project and I want to tell you to keep doing what are you doing because you are doing a great job. Hat off!

Any chance of a CPU miner being released?
CPU mining is not an obstacle, but is not profitable at all. BIS is a GPU coin, with specific algo to heavily penalize fpgas and asics from common algorithms. There are discussions about a potential use of mining channels to have both GPU and CPU mining going on, but nothing practical as for now. I personally believe that GPU is still the better path to hash power decentralization.
