Still BTC?

May be ltc? eth? xrp ? as yet unknown or unheard of project? or a low rank outsider?

I see BTC touched down to 55% dominance or lower today? that was unthinkable a few months ago.

I realise MC does not mean too much with all these tokens where a handful of people own them all but from the large well distributed projects I wonder if any will crush BTC by the time we hit 200 BILLION if it is not possible by the 100 BILLION mark.

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

Pretty easy, it begins with B, and ends with N. Yes, that's Bitcoin.

The marketcap dominance thing is useless. I don't know why people pay attention to that. Anyone can create their own altcoin, premine it, then suddendly the marketcap goes to the moon.

BTC is still #1 and no other coin is anywhere close to being #1 so stop dreaming about that. ETH bubble crash sooner or later.

Bitcoin will always be the top performing crypto. It's a matter of simple math to know why. Most money flows into Bitcoin and Bitcoin mining/hardware. While X11, scrypt and other asics are released to mine alternative currencies, it's to late to win that race from Bitcoin itself.

I think no matter how famous any altoins is. BTC still has the more coins to be mined. Super units facilities are built just for btc mining and furthermore what is going on in the news is btc and rarely any other coins is implicated by any medias lately.

For me, always bitcoin is the number 1 when we reach 100 billion market cap. Bitcoin is the mother of all cryptocurrency so if its reach that number of market cap there will be no more next after that but the price is not to much increase. The low market cap volume of altcoins then it turn into 100 billion market cap volume the price will multiply by hundreds then it will beat bitcoins' highest price.

There might be many kings but only one emperor in kingdom. When it comes to cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin has undoubtedly this throne!!
I see there are more people who are aware of bitcoin but don't know a single word what blockchain, cryptocurrency or altcoin means.
With increasing trend of blockchain money, bitcoin will be the first to reach 100 billion mark, no doubt.

I vote for ETH. Why? Just because it is superior in technology and has gained much more than btc in the last few months. I am talking about market cap of ETH, not the pure price of the coin atm when the market cap reaches 100B.

If we get that far it will go

BTC
ETH
Ripple
LTC
XEM

Top 5.... Possibly XEM in number 4 but probably not due to segwit and higher exchange exposure with LTC.   There is not as much support for ripple from some yet it has the financial backing....  As far as tech goes ETH and XEM are the future (for now) while Bitcoin is the crypto version of gold... The store of value coin for holding larger amounts.

Personally I'm not that into ripple.  Personally I think the bubble bursts before then and it could take years to hit $100B though I hope I'm wrong.  A slower rise would have been healthier. Volume is very good though.

I think BTC remain the first, but Byteball, HEAT ( See http://www.heatledger.com/ ) has good chances also.
