It depends on the situation, if you have a large amount of money to buy bitcoin and plan to hold it at least 2-3 years, then i can say it's worth to buy bitcoin. Not really it already have a high price so you can buy a lot of bitcoin inshort not a good profit unlike in the pass years its only around 400$ so when you invest in that tine you can buy a lot of volume in bitcoin and that can give you a good profit also but at this time i recommend investing in alt coins and holding it until price go up.

$3000 will get you less than 2 bitcoin at them moment, so i'd say that it's not worth it to buy bitcoin right now. The profit will be small if you only have less than 2 bitcoin, it's better to buy other coin like ethereum or monero that can have more value increase in 3 year.

for now with the high bitcoin price you're likely to eart profit from holding bitcoin is  just little bit though there is $3000 and the possibility of falling is also high because bitcoin is at the peak of the price. Here I completely agree with your opinion, but it's worth such a high price Bitcoin should not scare off potential investors. And the price increase on this has not yet ended and the limits and their forecasting are very high.

I think is a boon for investors, not as scary place for would-be investors. Because the bitcoin in future will definitely gives more favourable than today, because it's not just the bitcoin market some people but all countries that exist in the world. This is stupid logic you follow. Bitcoin will be worth only more in the future. It's true that $3000 is big money, but in 2018 it could be worth $6000 or more.
Meanwhile you suggesting yo buy altcoin just because you think it will follow Bitcoin's steps, which probably never happen.

It depends on when or how will you use it to gain profit from it , you should consider trading it but dont put it when you dont want the risk to break you , just put small amount then wait for the right time , i guess that could help you.
