Hi everyone, just signed up here as I'm pretty worried about mt bitcoin transaction still be unconfirmed after a week. I used the dynamic fees of 100% on electrum but I still don't think the fee was high enough. Anyway all I want now is for my bitcoins to be back as they've been stuck in limbo for about a week.

I don't even want it confirmed as in a blind panic I attempted to do a double spend, to make a long story short the transaction just ended up resending again as normal but my receiving address changed in the past few days so it resent to an old address and my new address isn't registering an incoming payment.

Please if anyone can help me out or has any similar stories for waiting a this long and the bitcoins coming back to them it'd be nice to have some reassurance.

Send a message to Lauda- they might be able to help you recover those funds for a fee.

Good luck.

You will need to provide the transactionID for us to really be able to provide any sort of useful help.

I'm fairly sure that Electrum does not keep rebroadcasting transactions like core does. So, after the unconfirmed transactions eventually drop out of the mempool, you should be able to respend them.

If the transaction is still showing in your history... you probably just want to back up your wallet... then restore it from scratch using the seed. As the unconfirmed transactions no longer exist on the network... they should not show up in the new wallet when the transaction history is rebuilt after the restore.

Don't panic. As long as you can check your balance on the blockchain, and it is what you expect it to be, you're fine.

Send a message to Lauda- they might be able to help you recover those funds for a fee.
PM sent to OP. Thanks for notifying me.

It's time to use a bitcoin accelerator at this point, unless whoever sent the payment was double spending(which is highly unlikely). viaBTC has a well-trusted accelerator which you can find here: https://www.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/ I wish you luck in getting this sent as I understand this is frustrating. It's happened to me before too.

This could be a good way to solve your problems.
