Hi and congrats on this great resurgence! I still have some PINK on an old wallet from back in 2014 that I would like to swap. When I open the wallet I get an error message that it cannot connect to the network. Do I need to download the latest version of the old bootstrap to make this work? Any help would be appreciated.

If you are still having issues doing your swap, join us in our slack channel and we can give you a hand. Have a great day.

I just installed the wallet on my PC.

I don't have any connexion to the network.

Is there some addnodes list available?
or a .conf file you could share?

And if there is a bootstrap, it would be great to get it as well
to speed up the syncing ;-)

thanks in advance

I wanted to see when I could expect a first staking.

Using the info shared with the little green arrow (right bottom corner),
I just see that I have 0 % chance to stake in the next HOUR.

Where could I see more info about staking on long time frames?

Thanks

Feel free to join us in our slack to chat with us on your staking potential but I'll give you a quick run down here as well.

The factors are based around how many coins you have, the age of the coins and the current network weight. With our current network weight of a little over a billion, we find that most people can expect 1-3 stakes a day with around 100k coins. Obviously this is a quick calculation, but if you joined us in slack, we can figure out your exact number with some info we would need from you.

Have a great day.

that was not really my question....

What I was trying to explain is that the ONLY % I see is for "the next hour".

I don't see anywhere the % of staking I will get in the "next day" or "next week".

I aw that for other wallets and other coins... like that we get an estimate of how long it will take.

Or for other wallet, we have an estimate of the day b4 staking....

Obviously I just have a tiny number of coins but nevertheless I should be able to see an estimate
given by the wallet, right?

Hi-
It can take some time for your network weight to build up.  Being relatively new myself, best tip I received was to ensure you use the coin control feature to break your 10K coins into 10 blocks of 1000 coins. These blocks will build up weight quickly, but also give you more "chances" to stake. I watched a couple you tube videos that showed me how to do this. The developers also will send small airdrops out as well to add to balance along the way  Grin

This is a really exciting coin with great potential, a solid dev team and a good message. By far the most "fun" of any coin I am holding!

I have already split my 10K coins into 10 blocks. Waiting 4th day and nothing.
How long do you have to wait when you started?

It took me 6 days to get the staking going before I had my first stake. I had 25K coins to start. It became very regular after that like one every other day or so.

You mentioned you have 10k coins. Our current network weight fluctuates around 1 billion. You will find a block, but it'll take time for your weight to build to be able to find one in a pool of 1 billion network weight.

If you need any help with anything else, let us know, or join us in slack.

Hi Guys,

My PinkCoin wallet refuses to open on my new computer, but worked smoothly on my old one. The program runs for a few seconds (I can see the process "Pinkcoin-Qt (OSS GUI client for Pinkcoin)" on the task manager, but the windows never opens. Few seconds later the process closes automatically.

Any ideas?

ty very much!
