According to the most recent post on https://pinkbuffaloz.com/
it seems that PINK has a discord Channel...

But I cannot find the link anywhere.

Could someone drop it, please?

Until today, I always kept my PINK coins inside Poloniex.

Now, I see in the OP (which can be old, I really don't know)
something about a SWAP... and something related to coins
in old wallets AND in POLONIEX.

So, my question is... what is the PINK coin status in Poloniex.

Were they swapped automatically for us or should we
still swap them?

My purpose was to finally move them out of POLO
and place them in the desktop wallet.

Thanks for the info.

not at all, the project is active, and there's quite a lot going on with it. it just looks that they no longer care about this thread or lost their access to it. pinkarmy.ml domain isn't used by the project for ages now.

so here are some working links:

https://with.pink/ - PINK landing page, with links to most associated projects.
https://getstarted.with.pink/ - the official PINKcoin homepage.
https://discordapp.com/invite/NnnyyBf - PINKcoin discord channel - the best way to get in touch with the community, PINKcoin devs and project managers.
https://pinkbuffaloz.com/ - the official PINK blog.

so you're shorting eh. may have already missed the bottom by a day or two, but all best to you. i certainly didn't mind getting some cheap coins.
anyway, their community managers came and went many times now, this thread is in fact the fourth PINKcoin thread here, so it looks like they've always had trouble keeping their bitcointalk threads alive.

I rely that the business will carry out all that has been estimated.
 Good luck all.

fuck off with your spam.

Why not just report it instead of quoting it?
The mods seem to be more than happy to remove such nonsense and it teaches them because they can't grow their activity when the posts are deleted.

well, you know, technically shorting is usually done with assets that one doesn't actually hold. when you go short you're either borrowing the asset in order to profit from its price reduction, or you're trying to make the price go down in order to actually buy the given asset for cheap. it's a basic strategy and here i was simply thinking you keep saying 'dead coin' because you're trying to steer the market sentiment down in order to reduce the price and have a better entry point and lower costs of investment.

anyway, polo delisted a few low-volume coins, like they regularly do. can't really blame them, there's little profit in it for them when there's so little actual trading going on with these coins on their platform and they don't get much from trading fees to justify maintaining the coin infrastructure. with PINK, most coins are kept off the exchanges and in the staking wallets, so there's normally not much trading going on.
additionally, PINK is a charity coin, and polo is now owned by a Goldman Sachs offshot. i'm sure charity is one of the the last things in the world that they care about.

still, i think it managed to perform admirably, considering the circumstances. delisting from polo made it go down a measly ~30%, which is nothing in crypto space. most other coins delisted by polo got a worse part of the deal and some went down as much as ~80%.

oh yeah, it's made me a pretty penny throughout these years.

yea, but i'd watch out for August 2 when it will be removed from polo trading. judging by historical price data of delisted coins, a slight dead cat bounce is to be expected after the shock of the initial announcement subsides (we may be at this stage already), followed by some further downward price movement at the delisting date. but since polo has fallen from grace, their influence on price shouldn't be so drastic anymore, and also most of PINK volume has already moved to bittrex, so it's hard to say exactly what would be an optimal entry point. i'd say 60-70 sat. would be a great buying opportunity, maybe even a bit lower. but anything below 100 sat. should be quite fine in the long run, especially if you're staking to offset the possible longish-term bear market.

trolloniex died the day they got rid of the trollbox to be fair.

It was the soul of the exchange and now they sold it to Goldman....

There are several old timers and whales in Pink actually.

so when the time comes, Pink will be melting faces off.

In the meantime, one just needs to be patient and stake as you rightly said so...."newbie".... Wink
