You really cannot compare Litecoin with ETC which is just a shell mirror of ETH, people might be attracted to ETC to create new projects when the amount of gas increases per transaction and till then we wont have much of a moving in ETC,Litecoin on the other hand was literally a sleeping giant for all these years and with the activation of Segwit i wish the price could reach an ATH with this rally.

All early crypto investors are going crazy on etc now.
Just go on twitter and research it. There must be a reason.
Etc is still very cheap. Big pump is coming. Maybe not today or tommorow. But it will this year.
I'm not saying u cant make profit on Ltc, but there is much more growh possibility in etc from now.
Grayscale trust is just launched. Korea is buying etc like crazy.

LOL. That's too much for LTC. I speculate that the price could go higher as $100 to $300 the most only but not $1000. LTC has making a lot of news because of Segwit activation.  And its becoming a testbed for bitcoin technology. So those investing in bitcoin is also putting capital as well to LTC because once Segwit is successful on LTC next will implementation will be on bitcoin.

Answer yourself - why would some business/merchant/service pick ETC over ETH? There is no way that ETC will be adopted, which is main reason for coin value to grow.
Meanwhile LTC  adoption grows, because SegWit activation and exchange adoption (Coinbase just accepted it).

I expect that in the future top 3 crypto will be BTC, ETH and LTC.

Litecoin of course, with its recent development and up rise, I think it will rise more going into 2018 and after. It has always had the potential to be top 5, and it could be in top 3 in the next year. So it definitely has more potential that ETC.

If you see in long term wise i feel that bought the coins have potential. I use etc mostly for trading and ltc as an investment. As i have noticed while trading etc grows slowly so a one year term would be perfect for it while ltc is a pumped coin so anything can happen. But if you sell at the right time and not wait for a year you may double your invetment

If I have to choose  one, I will pick Litecoin. I have read somewhere that LTC has more potential to grow up than ETC and quick check around the markets, LTC's volume is much more bigger than ETC's
