There are a lot of altcoins and I am really curious why people buy them. Is there any worth of altcoin? Why not using only bitcoin? What's the future of altcoins?

My reason I don't trust my projects.
Example ;
1ST : gamble with math too lol and dota 2
The Golem : a supercomputer mixed with make operations in a short time
MatchPool : do social networking like Facebook.
Humanic : create unused Bank Bank locations
We can increase these instances.

It is simple, it is through Altcoin you can easily multiple your money, for BTC to do X2 from the present price is bid deal, but very easy to see Altcoin do 2X, 3X in a matter of weeks

Altcoins an apply to a particular community and try to attract others. If you talking about future of altcoins mean for very useful in the future of nice community. |

People buy altcoins most of the time just to make profit out of them like what others do to bitcoin since one can multiply their money on altcoins 2X or more of the bitcoin they got in literally less than months sometimes it takes only a couple of days. Some buys and hold it for long term just because of the same reason since holding an altcoin long term can sometimes give 10X or more of the invested money of the investor if an altcoin is good and got potential. They can be sometimes used in gambling too but these reason is uncommon.

If u buy them then u become an investor then they can produce more token. the more investor the more token would be created. And if thats the case the price would go higher. |

1) Pump and dumps
2) quick trading when the Bitcoin price is stable or falling or
3) They really believe that the project is good and has a future.
1 works well for the whales.
2 works well when the prices are volatile/rising
3 is näive!

Why not using only bitcoin?
Because Bitcoin can do only one thing, and even that not so well. Altcoins can do much more, certain ones of them. |

Moshtly peoples buy altcoins is just for short term investments (trading altcoins) include me, and there are people who made investments for long term, for example many people made investments in ethereum because of it can be used for build projects on ethereum network also the peoples buy ethereum because of the smart contract on ethereum network. |

Someone is really taking a risk in holding altcoins & is just waiting to sell it at a higher rate. You should be fast in making decision, to hold it or not, to lose a lot or just get back your initial investment or gain a lil bit of profit. There were a lot of people who lost big chunk of money because they thought that it will increase its value, but, unfortunately, it just declined to 1 sat value and a lot worst, no one is buying anymore. So if you are an investor of altcoins, you should know the behavior of the market and the updates of that coin. Because you can gain insights what will gonna happen if you are following the developments of that particular coin. |

The best way to increase our bitcoin volume is by investing in altcoins.This strategy has been used by many investors successfully.But unfortunately,now there are lots of new coins which are scam and so its very difficult today to invest in altcoins and increase our bitcoins.But recently,when BU and hard fork issue was raised,bitcoin suffered a huge fall in price and altcoins prices started to increase.More investors bought altcoins and made use of that situation and increased their bitcoin volume. |

Did you watch the latest problem of bitcoin? The problem of bitcoin doesn't get resolved. Bitcoin have a limit blocksize, It can't accomodate a lot of transaction. And you must put your eyes on the bitcoin network. Too many spam transaction in these days. The unconfirmed transaction has touched over 100k just in a day. Altcoin has a role on this problem. To be the off-chain solution for bitcoin and that's why a lot of people are trying to buy it. But if you ask traders and he will way if altcoin is an opportunity to gain more profit. |

go to an exchange website or just open coinmarketcap.com and then start looking at the charts. i think you can easily find the answer you are looking for.
these altcoins are all getting pump and dumped. so that means if you "buy" them early one and then sell them some time later (in other words do trading) you can easily make a lot of money from this market and that in a very short time.
all the rest that people say about altcoins, such as gambling, using for blah blah, ... are not exactly true because these use cases are so rare and small that are considered negligible.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

to make more bitcoin is this even a question lol? altcoin are the only way and the fastest way remained to accumulate more bitoin before the BIG BOOM will make bitcoin very hard to acquire, you can buy altcoin for very cheap and wait for the pump, now investors are pumping the shit out of any altcoin, therefore easy money you have there in front of you |

People buy altcoin because they want to earn more bitcoin. Mostly traders buy it and sell it to earn too. But Some people buy altcoin and they hide it because they think that altcoin has a future like bitcoin. And for me this is the best earning way if you have bitcoin, investment in altcoin.

For exactly the same reasons as people have been buying bitcoin: to try to get them cheap, and sell them expensively, or hold them to sell them even more expensively. In other words, being a fool, and hoping/waiting for a greater fool. There is fundamentally nothing that differs an alt coin from bitcoin, apart from bitcoin being the first. |

People buy them because of the profit that will be made from these altcoins,these altcoins create a demand from a niche or project that they built,we cannot depend everything on bitcoin because of the issue of confirmations and yes altcoins have a bright future ahead just like Bitcoin. |

To get rich of course, it is quite easy(very risky) to double your investment in short time with altcoin. So they want to multiply the number of bitcoin they have, and eventually live off of them.
