We are close now to $2,000 and I believe that we are going to reach that point before the end of the year. But I doubt that it is going to happen for this year. Well see, because the movement of bitcoin's price is very fast and most of us here didn't expect this early that the price of bitcoin is going to reach at $1,700.

This was all happening due to japan legalizing bitcoin and now Japan investors are buying bitcoins seeing the potential of it and the business peoples are also taking opportunity to increase their sales by accepting bitcoin as payment option

Good thing that there is the Japanese that is willing to support bitcoin. Shame to the bigger country that stops the growth of bitcoin. I also read and I don't have an idea if this is true about Russia, they are also making a noise when it comes to bitcoin adoption. But whomever and whatever the reason of this growth, this is the best.

Even I, this is the first time to see the price of bitcoin to reach at $1,800+ right now and there are a lot of speculations that it can even go higher. Let's hope that this is going to be the new floor price of bitcoin but it will be better if we will see the price to reach up to $3,000 or even $4,000 that's in our favor.

7 months to go and it will be end of the year. $3,000 is not far from where we stand right now, if the rise of Bitcoin continuous like $50 increase per day or lest say a modest of $20 then $3,000 is achievable by end of this year. Lets just cross our fingers that there is no hacking of known exchange site that will happen in the next coming months as this also have an affect in Bitcoin price.

Well I guess its pretty ok to speculate for that price reached right now since first we are early stage of the year meaning bitcoin has a time to run more longer and japans adoption truly got a great effect on it theirs no doubt if good will allow bitcoins price would reach for that.

but for now lets just focus on the price almost reaching for 200$ at this moment and surely many people are yet holding for more eventhough their profits for this current rise event is huge.

they never made bitcoin illegal yet a lot of news sites said it is.
they never made it legal either and yet many sites said they did.

the truth is, they have been worried about bitcoin for so many years and voiced some concerns about it, but with Japanese news their worries were lessened by a lot.

$2000 will be reached definitely. A lot of positive news has been going around, like Australia want to adopt bitcoin as well. So it will truly put the price of bitcoin to like $3000 at the end of the year. A lot of countries are now seeing the true potential of bitcoin that's why they want to adopt it otherwise they will be left in the dark about this new technology that would change the financial landscape of many nation.

I assume it's a reasonable price if some big companies enter mining industry and take the power from Wu and activate Segwit, because we haven't yet seen any serious changes in the code base and we're still in experimental phase.
If difficulty increases by 20% in the next 3 months then $3000 is achievable.

That is more reasonable prediction then 3000$ by the end of this year, that is too much. Price is going up for some time, this is already surprise for many people, and I`m not the only one that thinks that we will see some drop in near future or correction, call it as you like. Anyway this watching price going up and making new records brings excitement to everyone of us.

Don’t forget markets can remain irrational for longer than you can remain solvent, while it does not make too much sense to reach that value at the end of this year the truth is the price does not stop rising every day, so while it may seem a crazy prediction it may come true if the growth of bitcoin does not slow down.

Is that for real, damn mainstream media really sucks. They did made Russia look like against bitcoin even there's no statement coming from them.  Well, let's go on positive now, Japan's move is the best thing that we ever seen. At first,2017 year's target was $2000 and it would be soon achieved.If bitcoin price rises continuosly in this speed,then for sure we can say that bitcoin price would even exceed $3000 by the end of 2017 due to mass adoption of bitcoins.
