i just recently reset my s7 and a lot of shares are being discarded. Does this mean they are not getting sent to the pool? On the pool website, it says I only get 4.2 th but the miner page says i get 4.7. What could the problem be.

PS. Was working fine before I resest

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

They're not shares, they're discarded unworked on work which has no effect on your hashing. Ignore it.
