According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Of the pools you listed BTC Guild was definitely the best.  All you need to mine there is an ASIC and a Time Machine.

A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text.
Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing?
A: Top-posting.
Q: What is the most annoying thing on usenet and in e-mail?

If he goes back in time far enough he can use a GPU.

That would be more fun.  Smiley

it is a edge because it is a 5n pool  for every miner in it like kano.  but since it has never hit a block and is new  no one has 5n  so if you mine at it now  and until it reaches 5n  you have an edge.  once the pool reaches 5n  this will not longer be true.

@ op   the best pool for you is mmpool.org   as they will give you the entire tx fee if you hit the block.  and if someone else hits the block all miners share the  block reward.  it is a small pool  but worth mining in.

I like

kano.is    https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=789369.0

mmpool.org   https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=559011.0

ck.solo   https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=763510.0

ckpool.org  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1876330.0

and I mine some at f2 pool  as I have old s-9 gear pointed at them

If you are small 1tb or under mm pool is okay.

If you are 10tb or more maybe Kano.is

 Grin

Do not forget to check ckpool.org out.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1876330.msg18650392#msg18650392

It will help to grow the pool, and you get a propper profit.

Those are both crap-coin pools. Keep your alt-coin pools in the alt-coin thread. This is the BITCOIN POOL thread.

To the original poster:
Kano or ckpool would be good. Both fair and honest. Johnny Bravo's pool also. They all have their strengths. CK is just starting up - not sure if it has found a block yet. Kano pool keeps cruising along.  That's where I hash. Cool

BITMIXER.IO Gone Baby, Gone.. ;-)
Not any good sig campaigns out there that I want!

I like the OP also have an S9 and am looking for the best pool to utilize - I will heed the recommendations of multiple people within this post (without making my own new post to duplicate) and head on over to Kano to investigate further.

Any thoughts? Suggestions?

Thanks in advance,

I've moved from Slush to ckpool. Slush is great but I want to be part of the first block on CK!

Fee is 0.5% on ck vs 2% on slush so that's nice Grin
