well still its not that much hashpower, maybe a 2-4% increase
50 x 10 Gh/s = 500Gh/s Network rate at the moment: 75,000 GH/s So its a increase of 0.0066% of the total network hash rate. Is there an easy way to see the total hashrate of the total network? Thanks in advance!

John, wouldn't it be less work if you counted from last valid bidding post backwards? I'm only guessing you're working your way through a lot of too low bids. But probably with good reason Anyway thanks for the massive work. GOD HOW SILLY I WAS. *facepalm* Thanks! I can imagine the stress of all those waiting eyes. Bidding is over, relax people. Take a drink and thanks again John.

If working from the end please take care about bid order - earlier bids of the same value beat later ones, right?

I got bagged with that on the first auction. Second auction, I removed all safety measures from my torpedoes.

Otherwise, John still have to parse through the whole thing.

Thanks in advance! I just use http://blockchain.info/stats to get the current rate, its on that page in the middle area (it says 82,000 GH/s) Or you can read this page to work it out without any third party websites https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/DifficultyI hope you find those links informative

Thanks bud!! I've only been around bitcoin for 2 weeks, so I still have lots to learn.
No problems! Bitcoin is a fascinating system to study, after this semester is over I want to delve into the Satoshi client code and try to fully understand how it all works. So much to learn!
