I don't know how sound the arguments are in the article posted by the OP because a few of the premises are invalid. For example, there are fees associated with bitcoin transactions and some of them are relatively significant ---> a few of the other premises can be refuted also. However, there is no doubt that the bitcoin gambling industry is successful, but I think that fact is due more to bitcoins utility as a vehicle to work around regulatory control than anything else.
I think that most of the people especially bureaucrats and others are very corrupt and they have illegal money which they cannot use openly because of the legal authorities therefore they use these illegal earned money in gambling and the owners of casinos are making huge money due to a high number of gamblers in the world. I think the main reason of gambling success is illegal money. |

One of the main reason I believe is you don't need to go through a verification system, hence also when your a minor you can do sports-betting via BTC. Personally I think is it pretty dangerous, specially when kids get addicted to it... Another reason might be that the withdrawal fees compared to "fiat" sports-betting books are much lower, hence more profit for the player. BTC has the label of being - and I agree - a high-risk investment, hence this attracts people who like to take a bet now and then. Just my 2 satoshis  |

It's not so successful but the amount of players are surely increasing every day. The reason behind this is surely the house edge which is max 1% on most of the gambling sites as well as the ease of gambling you need to put some fake details deposit and withdraw with any personal information to be provided
Then i think we should accept that it is successful because you also accept it that everyday players numbers are increasing, also you give us valid reason, in online gambling we could play it even we have no enough money because in it the house edge is very less. In gambling if we want to play but we can't play it because we have no more money, but in online gambling it has solved the problems. but online gambling also has major risks you can still lose if you gamble online or offline the sites are expanding rapidly you don't have to worry with majority if the sites scam you but first to get scammd you need to get profit unless and until you don't get any profit there is no possible way gambling can work for you |

I always thought it is because it is much easier to spend bitcoin or crypto for that matter than it is for fiat for the ones who are gambling with it. You would like to say you spent bitcoin than it would be that you spent a few hundred dollars at the casino wouldn't you? Especially if it was money you needed to pay your rent with.  |

It's good enough to make it popular. But, in my opinion for under age players should remain in the limit, because they must not really understand about the rules. |

Same here with me, i came in gambling because when i entered in bitcoin and then i started to play gambling. But before bitcoin gambling is also here in my country and people play it with fun but bitcoin give help to online gambling system because of easy transaction. But still i will say since when gambling came into this world people like it and play it because of many reasons, but i got it gambling industry successful because of entertainment. Never gambled all my life until I got interested in bitcoin and it was funny since I always had the notion that I will never gamble after knowing someone close to me who apparently wrecked his life through gambling, now he is gone from the whole frustration in his life leaving wife and kids to suffer for it.
