Podgor: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=943442

Amount scammed: 0.02602561 BTCs

I have done numerous transactions with him before, he always went first and deals were smooth.
This was the only time i went first, gave him $48 BTC he had to give me $60 AGC.
User blocked my PMs and never gave me the AGC.

Chat screenshots :-
http://prnt.sc/f6xks2

Bitcoin txn: https://blockchain.info/tx/8431095b8a8e6988d424aff3f416efa76ccbd4b2bbab1cf48b1d5e765dfcd5ae

Of course this was my mistake for trusting him after having several transactions, i went first with the txn for the first time.
Lesson: No matter how many previous transactions you have done, don't trust them. It's funny how Podgor scammed for such a small amount and broke all the previous trust. More than him, i blame myself.

Is there a way to check all the IP's that were used by the account?

First I see some messages in my email bu they're not in my inbox, now this.

I didn't deal with this user recently and I have no reason to steal $60 when I sell hundreds daily.

You can't.

You are responsible for your own account, and securing it as such. Seems that someone hacked your account but failed to change the password (until you did..) - since you have control of your account now without being locked out/intervention from mods to get it back.

Afraid to say YOU are responsible for this. You are not going to get your trust score cleared without repaying the OP.

It's funny how you still haven't unblocked me for PMs.
Also, the security of your account is your own concern. This is still on you and it won't be resolved unless you refund me or give those AGCs as the deal promised.
Once you do this, i think we can continue the trade in the future. And sure it will fix your reputation.

That only boils down to one thing : Your bitcointalk account and your email id has been hacked. Isn't it ? According to the seclog your password was changed on May 11, 2017, 11:33:15 PM.

OP, I would suggest you to post the TX details of all the deals you have done with him.
That might be of some help.

Most probably as what other's saying your account was hacked without changing the login details before you changed it. Only if you are the original owner of this account, then you're responsible all of this, and all you can do to clean your name is to refund OP for what your account or the hacker did while you are not around.

How can I check all the IPs accessing my account?

I believe admins (theymos) are the only one who can see IPs, I'm not sure if normal Staff/Global Mods can as well?

Regardless, it probably will not help your situation... anyone can connect through a VPN and login under a different IP, it doesn't necessarily prove anything. You could have logged in through a VPN, scammed someone, and then come back on under your normal IP and state your account was used by someone else.

IF someone else actually did login using your credentials, the solution to avoiding this is to sign messages from a known staked address when doing trades. If this was part of your standard trading practice, the person logging in as you would not have been able to sign a message as you.

EDIT: Also wanted to add here that the buyer should also request a signed message to do everything in their power to ensure that they are dealing with the same person, especially when a different address is being used to send BTC to.

Then the hacker/scammer that you meet from your last transaction was the owner of this address 1K9vMJFVM8TvzVXsuwfxvvk7eLyj4c4F2D and not OP(probably) and because from the address used from your previous transaction was different.

Yes, this was a big hint towards the scam, i wish i noticed it, i was on mobile and trusted him hence i sent the BTCs. I know it was my mistake for being careless too.
But i still believe the hack is podgor's concern and not mine. He should either refund me or send the AGCs.

At 2:56 PM 11th May he told OP to send bitcoins.
At 11:33 PM he changed his password

At 11:36 PM he told OP that he's going to send the gift card soon and blocked him after that message.
If his account was really hacked then this doesn't makes any sense.

Podgor, wanna say clarify this?

Sorry for your loss stingers.

It's shocking that the time between the day the account was hacked, the hacker succeeded in closing the deal within 3 hours. There is no way to even get any notification when the password changes.

However, it's always preferred to check whether the user's email and/or password has been changed recently and if it has been changed, they should provide a signed message to prove ownership of the same.

I also noticed that when first we used to get a bold text of the message "This user changed his/her password recently." the text now appears small. It's tough to even check if there is any concern.
