Okay I have been trying a bunch of different miners and I have had nothing but trouble. I am totally lost. I have Amd 4600s  and for every miner so far I am having Opencl errors the most common one being opencl is not for this target. What does this mean? I have tried messing with my .bat file as best I can. I know they won't be profitable but I want to get all my older components mining for me so I would love it if someone had some insight on the subject.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Those cards only have 1GB of memory, it looks.  You needs 3 to 4 GB of memory to mine ETH.

It won't work, it was possible to mine with older cards with 14.x ati drivers, but now the DAG is to big to fit in the memory.
But you can mine new ethash forks before they reach the 1GB DAG size.

probably ETC also is not minable with those gpu, try to mine very new dager coin such as musiccoin or HUSH, hush is profitable now for amd but always consider dual mining if you want more profit, i would recommend siacoin

HUSH ANN:

You might need to use Radeon 14.4 drivers or maybe even older drivers.

Go out and buy a real GPU. Buy a Radeon 7950 for like $50 off Craigslist. Those GPUs you are trying to mine with are a complete joke. Your CPU can probably make more money than those GPUs.

but the 7950 is too old is not good anymore for ETH, the size of GB required is too high for the tiny 3gb that the 7950 offers, better for him to buy a recent 470 with 4gb which is still very cheap at $150, or take it second hand at $100

7950 is good for ZEC mining.

Well 7950 is 220-260 H/s depending on model (that I have) and intensity settings etc. for zcash.  Roll Eyes

a 1060 is 300 sol and consume less than 90watt, the 7950 consume too much, like 150 or 200, not worth it for me, even if you can find it for very cheap like $50
