Hi Everybody,

I've had three Butterfly Labs ASICs (Don't laugh!) churning away in a data centre for a few years now... UPS and generator backup power is free for me, so why not! :-)

I'm hosting BFGMiner (currently v5.4.2) on a Debian box and it's been working flawlessly... until this week!

I got an alert that my worker was down. I logged in and see this;

 bfgminer version 5.4.2 - Started: [2017-05-13 11:14:35] - [  0 days 00:02:50]

 [2017-05-13 11:14:34] Pool 0 stratum+tcp://sg.stratum.slushpool.com:3333 alive
 [2017-05-13 11:14:35] Pool 0 is hiding block contents from us
 [2017-05-13 11:14:35] Network difficulty changed to 560G ( 4.01E)
 [2017-05-13 11:14:35] Stratum from pool 0 detected new block

The ASICs are being detected... but it looks like they aren't hashing.   I went on site and hooked an ASIC up to my Win7 Laptop and the actual ASIC hardware is working fine.  The power supply for the ASICs is working fine too.  The Linux machine has been stable, but I rebooted just the same... same result.

Has anyone else seen this happening recently?

Lunokhod.

maybe try one of the other slush pool domains or just go to stratum.slushpool and let it work it out, seems strange that pools hiding stuff from you and its the only thing that looks odd, maybe try cgminer if that doesn't work and see if bfgminers gone bad somewhere.

P.S im still running the 5GHs BFL miners Cheesy so i dont laugh
