You can cheat them. I quickly entered up to three and then rammed the button, it accepted 14.219 here.

I wouldn't call that cheating then as their restriction in the textbox field is really cheating us.

Seeing that the local time in China is now 23:23, they're probably sleeping. And as they have manual withdrawal, I have to wait for at least 8 more hours to receive my BTC.

A quick calculation shows that this joke has already cost me about 70 USD due to market volatility - I could've cashed out hours ago.

Which is fucking outrageous. I will not use this exchange again. Dipshits.

LOL.,
New exchage that exists less than a day and you're outraged that their free service is not like you expected?
Life must piss you off pretty often if this caused an outrage..

well i woke up and my btc was successfully withdrawn from the site to my wallet. I waited around 2 hours before taking a nap, and it went through in my sleep.  My wallet says I got the transaction about 3.5 hours after I requested it. Slow, but unless you are looking to immediately trade your btc on another site, it is good enough to get the job done. Sure, the site definitely has some rough edges, but this is still overall a step in the right direction for FTC.

On withdrawing some FTC I was apparently charged a 0.2% fee - however I don't see any mention of this fee anywhere on bter.com

EDIT: I am however very glad to say decent quantity of FTC withdrawal was otherwise successful.

I disabled java and am attempting to withdraw btc with 7 decimal places. It is of course going to take a while to know if it transfers, but I DID get past the initial attempt, and it is in processing so far so good. Will reply back with results

UPDATE: All 7 decimal points of BTC successfully transfered to my wallet. Porcessing was only around 15-20 minutes this time. Very pleased.

FTC has transfer fees just like other crypto coins, and it depends on the kb size of the transfer, my wallet is often charging me fees when I send FTC somewhere. So it would be crazy for an exchange that isn't charging transaction fees for trades, not to have some sort of a withdrawal fee, else the would have to fork them out of their own pockets. It would be nice to know what the exact fee is.

But here's the thing.. there are listed buyers at that price and sellers at that price.. but no trades happening?  I don't get it right now.

Actually they are not the same price as it's shown because It only displays 5 decimals while the precision is 8 decimals.

No, and it's also not letting me withdraw with more than 1 digit significance.

I have 14.21999485 BTC but I can only withdraw 14.2. Any extra numbers I put in there get immediately removed.

we attempted to avoid the network fees in this way. Now you can type in 3 decimals in stead of 1. I hope you are happy now.

Crypto-currencies are credited within 1 minute after accessing this page or "My funds" page and only after 4 confirmations of the transaction in the network.

Sorry we forgot the mention the 0.2% withdraw fee on FTC withdrawal page. We have done so.
You can PM me if you did the withdrawal before we mention the fee. I will refund your fee.

Great exchange, BTC showed up after an hour, trade went fast... but then I couldn't withdraw my FTC. Appearantly there's a limit of 200(?!?!) for withdrawls?

Why creepy?

Sites have small downtime from time to time.

Yes, a few minutes offline due to the data center network issue just now. Servers are at very low load.
