Is the msi z170a gaming pro carbon any good for 7 rx5xx cards?
If not that one, what other board will support 7 5xx cards?
Thanks

Z170 won't work with 7 gpu. Z270 works. Asus Z270 Prime can run up to 9 gpu.

6 gpu is working with no problems? yes but you need to activate something in the bios to make the motherboard check for more than 3 gpu, after that you can run even 8 gpu on that motherboard, i still like the asrock more because it come with more power, but the asus one as the M2 which is very good for removing some cables

If you don´t have enough PCIe slots use USB-PCIe risers.

There is not enough PCIe lines. I also read that there are lot of problems with this chipset. But you can try. I'm not sure which it is, but the expensive one. I've bought Prime P.

You have to set TOLUD to 3.5 or lower... or enable 4G above.

Depending on if you are dual mining or not a 1000 W platinum rated PSU is sufficient for up to 7 RX 4XX/5XX cards per rig with bios mod and will save you money in the long run over a gold.

TB250 works out of the box for 6 but obviously if you are trying to do a 7 card rig you have to go with the PRIME Z270-A.

For ETH only, 1000w is fine. You can look up the evga g2 1300 in case you decide to dual mine.

Got an auto-notify from Newegg today saying the BIOSTAR TB85's were back in stock for $79.
Clicked the link, sold out.
