Hi Everyone,

Bear with me, this is my first attempt at mining and I'm not sure that I'm doing it right. I installed cgminer and ccminer and have them both running with the information in the .bat files. The cgminer doesn't seem like it's doing anything as all the numbers at the top are set to 0. The ccminer is running though and my GPU (GTX 1080) is definitely having a workout because the fans are running and it's at about 75C. The prompt for ccminer is running the messages that say for example "accepted 76/76 (diff30.389) 3604.34 mh/s yes!". When looking at the digibyte pool site though, under my workers all the numbers there are also 0. Like I said, I'm very new to this and have no experience whatsoever with mining. I have my receive address for my digibyte wallet entered under my account but I don't know that I'm going to receive anything. If anyone can let me know if what I'm doing is right or if I have this all screwed up and I'm running my GPU for no reason I would appreciate any help.

Thanks!

As long as you're getting Accepteds your hashing correctly and should get credited for your work.  If you were at a pool trying to mine for Bitcoin, that might not be the case as BTC is hard to find a block for and a pool could have you working there for years without getting any reward if they don't find a block.

Here is what I'm getting when I run the miners http://imgur.com/a/J7cZ4

The ccminer seems like it's working fine but the cgminer doesn't look like it's finding anything.

Here is what I have in both the batch files for the ccminer and cgminer http://imgur.com/a/OYIKj

The site says that you get a deposit after each 40 acceptances but I had around 150 and didn't see anything.

You might have the syntax for the URL wrong.  I have used http:// starting a pool URL but haven't seen s1.
like you have.   Try http:// and see if it works.

FYI, post the batch contents next time instead of a photo;  use the "#" button above the reply box to "add code snippet":
Code:
it will look like this.

digi.bat:  you did not select an algo.  What algo are you mining DGB as?  (looks up port number from your pool...)

port 9001.... after searching them from most profitable to least (with nvidia anyways) it was my last pick;  sha256d.

That's your problem right there.

The 1070 realllllly screams at skein with this new optimized miner; the 1080 didn't get as big of a boost, but it's still a huge boost nonetheless.

The Solution:
Go here for the port/launch string: https://dgb-skein.theblocksfactory.com/gettingstarted

Go here and only download "ccminerAlexis78.exe", you won't need anything else from that package.

Change your batch file to reflect the new filename of the miner, and put this new ccmineralexis78.exe with the original one and batch you were using;  don't forget to update your worker/username and password.

You should be rocking and rolling.   I didn't read anything else from that pool about payouts or anything, you are gonna have to do that yourself Wink

i see from that screenshot that you are not mining digibyte but decred? and you don't use cgminer with nvidia, use only ccminer, or you won't get any share on pool side, this is known, anyway if you want to mine digibyte you need to point at skein algo not blake 14r (decred)

the bill is denoted by the power draw of your GPU generation........ mostly.
