Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Hello all.. 2k May deposited to my wallet 2 weeks ago & still no stakes.. my weight is stucked to 4200 for a long time now. Do i have to do something?
check your internet connection!! connection is fine.. The wallet must be 24/7 opened in order to stake? Ensure your wallet is unlocked for staking. When you put your mouse over the staking weight (icon), What is your expected time to earn rewards does it report? expected tim to earn is 1 day.. as it was yesterday and before yesterday.. it;s stucked there with a 2k balance, i would expect longer. Under Statistics, how many connections do you have?
