Chelsea manning out of prison

Leaker extraordinaire Chelsea Manning has left the United States Army's Disciplinary Barracks at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, after her sentence was commuted in the last days of Barrack Obama's presidency.

Manning was jailed after leaking more than 700,000 documents to WikiLeaks in 2010. She came across the documents in her work as an intelligence analyst for the US Army in Iraq. Manning was disturbed by some of the material she encountered, such as the video of US helicopter crews attacking and killing a group of unarmed men, including two journalist for Reuters.

She should seeked Asylum in another country to avoid arrest in the first place. If people who do the right things are jailed, then why do we complain when someone does the wrong thing.

I am still having doubts about whether her sex change operation was voluntary or forced. Perhaps the CIA forced Manning to take the sex change operation, to teach the whistle-blowers a lesson?

If that's the case Manning could easily sell the rights to her story to a publisher or a movie company and get filthy rich. Only has to escape to Russia first

He had the courage to leak a lot of documents and when It comes to his sex change, he is afraid to say something? as far as I know, the decision was voluntary and nobody forced him to do it.
