I think it is pretty obvious now that directbet.eu ran away with their customers money.

They accepted bets on the german Federal elections, which took place last sunday. I won such a bet and did not see my 1.1 eth yet.

The last way to contact them was this Forum where they have not been online for a Month or so.

No ... forget about the most trusted sportsbook, they are no honorable buisenesspeople.

Did they not announce that they will be closing in time? Did they not offer to pay out your outstanding bets? I had the same bets, told them to cancel them and pay me out, which they did in a heartbeat. So maybe it is your own fault?

Why did you keep placing bets on that site after they announced its closing? I just don't understand... it was your fault if you didn't receive any payment!

@Boseda actually, it's long term bets on such things as the grand-finals placed at the start of a term, or, the next general election in a few year's time... that sort of thing where DirectBet.EU are hoping the punters would forget, but, as each of these longer term bets are starting to conclude, you will see more and more people coming here to state they have been duped (as like the OP of this thread I have been) by them.

Why did you keep placing bets on that site after they announced its closing?

I placed my bet on late February and they announced their shutdown around May. They confirmed my bet (in Feb) and later (in May) stated all confirmed bets would stand and would be settled automatically. It may well be, that someone has made an error, false ether address, software bug or whatever.

FACT: I can not communicate with them at time of settlement, because they and my money are gone.
