You are saying that openclerk is used to retrieve data for the balances. But I thought that information is retrieved by the API issued by for e.g. BTC-e.com. If this is not the case where do we need the BTC-e API for.

The BTC-e API provides the data; Openclerk downloads the data, then performs calculations to create your summaries (such as the equivalent value of all your cryptocurrencies in USD), and also stores historical data so you can see graphs (and some other cool features coming soon). If you only used the BTC-e API you wouldn't be able to get that functionality directly.

Today we're releasing 0.22, which adds some really exciting features: market price averages (for all supported currency pairs), the start of a new major feature through Your Transactions; and better user interfaces.

Market Price Averages

• Added market price averages for every supported currency pair, from every currently supported exchange:

• These market price averages can also be used for your summary calculations; more exchanges will be added in the future to provide better data
• For example, USD/BTC, BTC/LTC, BTC/NMC, ...

Your Transactions

• Automatically generate historical daily transactions for all of your accounts, mining pools, and addresses

• You can enable or disable automatic transaction generation per account, or regenerate historical transactions at any time
• This feature is still under development, so there may be some weird issues - please let us know
• In the future, you will be able to edit, delete or create individual transactions, and export these to CSV

Interface improvements

• Your accounts can now be disabled through your wizards, to preserve historical data for dead accounts
• You will now be notified when your graphs may be out of date due to recently added or removed accounts:

Today we're releasing 0.23, which adds some functionality that builds on the new CryptFolio Finance functionality.

• Added manual transaction creation
• Added transaction categories
• Your Transactions can now also display the daily market average exchange rates for each transaction - useful for tax or accounting purposes
• Added transactions export to CSV for premium users
• Disabled accounts no longer count towards account limits

If you had a CEX.io or GHash.io account that has recently been failing, you will need to create a new API key for CEX.io/GHash.io and add it again to CryptFolio. It looks like CEX.io removed all existing API keys without notice.

We're also in the process of upgrading the site to support multiple languages (i18n). If you would like to contribute to the translation of Openclerk, please get in touch.

Today we're releasing 0.24, which translates CryptFolio into the following languages:

• German
• English
• French
• Japanese
• Russian
• Chinese (Simplified)

Almost all content is translated, except for the account-specific help files; these will be translated in a future release. To change your language, select the new language selector in the top-right corner on any page.

These first languages are mostly machine translated, and we would love any help to improve the translations of the Openclerk project. To help in the translation of Openclerk, join the Openclerk Transifex project page.

Just signed up and have to say this site would be AMAZING if I didnt only use bitcoin. Tracking all your different coins is probably a huge pain but with this site it would probably make it much easier. However since I only use bitcoin its not really that useful to me, the blockchain wallet shows the balances of all my wallets in btc and fiat value.
